Ezra's POV
I glanced back—Mom was looking at me and Calix, and I didn't want her to be worried about me. She had just recovered. I should have controlled myself in front of her, at least.
"Calix, it's between us. You should have coaxed me instead of going to my mom like this," I said, grabbing his hand.
"Mom, you take rest. We're leaving now," I told her, pulling Calix out of the room. I dragged him further away and pinned him against the wall.
"You were doing this on purpose, right?" I shouted.
"What do you mean by 'on purpose'? I do like you, Ezra, but you're the only one who can't see it. You even gave a chance to that Vlad, so why not me?"
I sighed heavily. Who told him I had given Vlad a chance?
"Wait, if you only want to sleep with me, then say it directly. No need to beat around the bush."
It was obvious—Vlad must have told him what happened between us. And now Calix was behaving like this because of that. But wasn't my first kiss with Calix?
