Lilith's gaze became calculated as she leaned closer to Vera. "Remember Demetrius' birthday party? The one you weren't able to attend?" Vera whispered, her voice barely rising above the running water. "I caught Thompson with Calista and when we got back together, he told me what actually happened between them." then she relayed all that she knew.
Lilith's lips curled into a sly smile, her anger turning into malice. "Oh, Vera, you're always full of surprises. And now, I've got the perfect little bombshell for our dear Calista," she said, her tone dripping with venomous glee.
