As soon as I got out of the class, I made my way to the stadium... Cameron had re ignited my passion for soccer, he was good and it made me think that if I had kept on practicing maybe I'd be that good but alas I need money to get a place to practice aside the 1 million dollars from Ruoxue I'd still need more...
I sighed in relief when I saw Cameron was practicing alone...
"Hey! Charlie right..? Seems you can't get enough of me" Cameron said picking up the soccer ball as he sprinted towards me. Cameron was half naked only in sport shorts and boots no top and honestly he had the chest of a body builder.. Paired with his beautiful Amber eyes, tall height and hazel ish brown hair... In short he was breathtaking...
"Like what you see..?" Cameron teased flexing his biceps
"In all honesty yes" I said with a sigh as I admired his muscles... If I had kept practicing I would've had a better softer build.....
Cameron looked shocked to hear me admit it but if only he knew I wasn't fawning over his body instead I was jealous of it... He smiled nevertheless but just as he was about to say something I stopped him saying "But that's not why am here"...
"oh...?" He made a puzzled look which soon turned shocked when I told him my plans and briefly my past making sure to skip my surname and details of my family...
"What....?!? You're telling me you were a tomboy and you played soccer...???" Cameron said bewildered
"well depends on your definition of tomboy.... But is it a problem..?" I said not sure the exact meaning of that phrase as I always felt playing soccer shouldn't be something restricted to boys alone as there were female soccer players and liking hoodie and baggy pants was a personal preference.....
"Well.... No problem at all Ma'am and I would love to help you Ma'am" He said doing a little salute as he struck a military pose... And I couldn't help but laugh until a little tear came out of my eyes...
He reminded me of my brother cody, the eldest... He was as playful and teasing as Cameron.. So I told him just that
"You remind me of one of my brothers"I said with a slight smile....
"Oh so the sibling you mentioned when you were telling me about your soccer past was your brother...?" He Inquired and that's when I realized that in my cheerful state I may have said too much, I thought of a way to change the topic...
"Uh..... Oh! The project our teacher mentioned.. Earlier today, we were paired together right..? with anna and hazel, Where would we meet..?" I asked giving myself a mental high five for successfully changing the topic
Cameron noticed how she tried to avoid the topic but he decided not to push it...
"We could use my house.. I have a room that is suitable for projects and experiments"...
Charlie wasn't sure if he was talking about their project work or another thing.. She blushed slightly " Cameron..! You perverted brat...!!!!"She said bawling her hands into fists as she hit chest not to hard ...
"Oh my Goodness! Charlie we can't do that here, save it for during the project" He said the last part dangerously close to her ear.... How dare he flirt with her..! She wanted to push him away when he suddenly grabbed her hand and said in a husky tone...
"I'm ready to comply..." Charlie's entire face turned beat red as she blushed from how close their faces were but as soon as she registered what he said she pinched him hard on his arm ...
"Don't tease me, you brat...!!" she said aiming to give him a good beating but he dodged and so she ended up chasing Cameron round the field till he suddenly stopped running and turned back facing her... She didn't expect him to stop so she collided with his chest pushing him in the process which made his back hit the wall behind him...
He then turned her around using the wall to cage her in his arms as they both pant out of breath "You have great stamina.. I didn't know" he said
"Well you shouldn't have underestimated me" I said calming down....
"I'll tell Anna and Hazel we'll be doing the project at your place..." I said "okay" He replied about to release me as he saw I wouldn't beat him when suddenly the door to the stadium was pushed open and the boy soccer team poured in.... Including August because he was their captain apparently...
"Seems like it's break" Cameron said looking down at me due to our height difference as he let me go.... I was about to run off to the Cafeteria when he pulled me back and placed a gentle kiss on my forehead saying....
"Since I remind you of your older brother you can see me as one"... Originally I was pissed but when he said that I calmed down....
"Of course not..! Idiot...! We're in the same class, so I will see you as a friend... Just cause you know my secret that's why we are even friends to begin with.." I said feeling embarrassed that he did that in front of the whole soccer team... I'd surely get my revenge but for now I had to go before I die of embarrassment...
"Tushe.." He said with a cheeky grin "But I must play against this super fast runner one day..." He teased leaning down just to whisper it into my ears which made me blush slightly due to his never ending teasing... This boy was shameless!!! I thought fuming in my head....
"Shameless...!" I said hitting his chest before running out of the stadium before I bury myself due to embarrassment....
--*August pov*--
"Hey..! Cameron time for practice" Maltadore shouted when he saw him...
He was bending while the girl slightly leaned on him and he was shirtless and a little sweaty, his hands were around the girls waist....
"Looks like cameron had a little session before we got here" One of the boys said with a knowing smirk...
The girl moved away a little and I caught a glimpse of her hair.... "Wait a minute..? Isn't that the new kid..?" Maltadore said shocked which made the boys start talking... "Charlie?!?" I thought feeling shocked and a little furious...
