Maria pounded the invisible barrier with all her might. Small cracks appeared after her first punch.
Slowly, the cracks spread further and further and eventually the barrier was full of huge visible cracks.
With an ear-piercing sound, the barrier cracked. All the city guards who were running to the place to check the commotion felt their spines tingle at this moment.
One of the guards screamed and the others turned their heads to the direction where the guard was pointing.
