Thaddeus coughed softly, unable to hide his surprise, and glanced down at Kayden. He hadn't expected such audacity between the two of them and certainly not to read it aloud with Kayden right there on his lap. Kayden's face flushed immediately, and he shyly locked his phone, hiding it from view.
Thaddeus shook his head, a small, amused smile tugging at his lips. "For real… is that really what you talk about with your friend?"
Kayden buried his face a little against Thaddeus's chest, muttering, "I didn't think he'd… send that."
Thaddeus tightened his hold on Kayden, his voice gentle but teasing. "Well… now I know you and your friend are naughty, and far from innocent."
Kayden lifted his eyes to meet his, a hint of mischief in his gaze. "Are you saying we're… bad and not good?"
