Not in my book, he was a bad guy yes, but stupid won't be the word i use to describe such his last move, at least he was courageous enough to pull such a move in the end, i thought he was quite cowardly at first, but his last action proved me wrong .
Even though it didn't do much damage to any of guys who wronged him, but at least he tried to get some payback at those guys for them doing what they did to his subordinates.
But i can tell that even if he didn't directly did any apperant harm to them in the surface, they might still suffer from some of the residual effects of him dying here, after all he came from one of the prestigious families known in this land, so there must be some repercussions to the loss of a member from such a family .
This is probably why was that law enforcement team leader was currently in a bad mode cursing at his other subordinates and firing some shots from time to time as if releasing some of the accumulated frustration that he now have .
A few minutes later he regained his composure, but was still cursing and kicking the corpse of the gang leader .
Will that lead to a problem ? .
Answer me this first, in his memories can you recall which party did he support back in the Dorell family ? .

Do you think that i don't know that already, him being the illegitimate son of the 4th elder is quite the surprise, but the 4th elder stance was already quite clear to everyone in Devons, what i am asking was whether this useless son of his shared the same stance as his father or not ? .
The memories of his is clearly stating that he got in a big fight with his dad over something oblivious to me and before you ask i believe that i got tons of memories out of him, but his last suicidal act prevented me from acquiring all of his memories, so this part was one of those parts of information that i wasn't able to save .
But check your stored memories more throughly, is it safe to assume that both parties had a big disagreement with each other, or is it just a small quarrel .
It is safe to assume that it was quite the big argument, one that forced him to leave the manor against the wishes of his father and getting acquainted with those lawless guys after he visited a bar and they convinced him to lead them, after knowing of his noble lineage which he agreed to, his father tried to reach him over and over, so in the end he decided to come to the barren lands and to make a name for himself here, but now his way to fame got cut off .
By revising some of his information that you were still able to maintain and with your inside knowledge about how things were going on in the city and in particular at the Dorell Family , could you give an acute judgment about which party would that guy be more inclined to join .
I can't say for sure, but from what i saw in his memories, he had been getting close to the first son of the Dorell family, but again i will have to remind you that he have only been here for a short time, his interactions with his family members was quite minimal too, so my judgement might be quite wrong, not to mention that some of this guy memories have been either destroyed or had a problem in them .
So even Demons have some internal fighting as well, how weird, but why was he keep asking about those kind of things, was there a point in knowing all of this now, the guy was as that Ludo said, already dead .
But to continue the weirdness, the leader who have finally stopped kicking the corpse of the dead gang leader actually released a loud laugh, as he began to say :
That will be more than enough, thank you and to answer your previous question, if everything went well as i hope, then i believe no one will miss this guy enough to open an investigation for his death, the only person that could probably still ask for an explanation will be none other than his father the 4th elder but with his current stance in the family, the chance of his pleas being taken into account is vere slim .
So no, i don't believe there will be any problem arising for quite a long time, we are in luck that guy already prepared everything for us by choosing the wrong party to support, so even if they were to investigate the reason for his death, it will most likely lead them to the first son's enemies from inside the family and with the lack of evidence and the lack of interest in wasting precious time for an illegitimate son's cause, the Dorell family will be the one to drop the charges and we would be out of the whole picture .
We could even possibly be able to benefit from all this, if things were to go my way then we could possibly sell the information about the internal conflict in the Dorell family intensifying and make some good money from it, while also weakening the strength of the Dorells even more, knocking too many bird with one stone .
What a cursed plan that guy devised, are all demons this cunning, if that plan of his proceed as he intended then their won't be any sort of repercussions on him for killing a nobility, not only that but he even will be able try fishing for some benefits in this muddled water .
I really underestimated the internal strives between the Demons, especially both the strives between the 13 founding demon families and each other and the ones between the members of the same family as well, i should have known better than to believe that since they have the same purpose to be here, that they will end up coexisting to achieve that purpose they came here for .
How optimistic of me, that guy's words reminded me once again of what world and what kind of land i was currently in, the strong eat the weak in this land, but what if there was no point in continuing to eat the weak for the strong, then as a result and at least from what i had concluded from his words, even those guys who are strong weren't safe either, since even the strong seemed to be interested in devouring each other, not to mention a place where 13 strong family were eying to devour each other, that place would be akin to a den of monsters, a true embodiment of the law of the jungle, Survival To The Fittest .
And after knowing all that, i believe not only would he be able to get away with the murder of the said guy, he really might be able to take advantage of internal fighting to fish some benefits for himself and his comrades but he doesn't appear to be a person who like to share his gains with others .
Heck, if i hadn't witnessed the whole process, i would have found it impossible to tie him to this incident, but unlucky for him i did, not sure how would that benefit me much since his fate according to me was already quite sealed, such a vicious demon with such a venomous heart should be dealt with without any mercy, he too must abide by the rules of this land .
But that could only work if things were to perfectly lined like you wanted them to and something like doesn't appear to likely to happen .
Do your part and leave the rest to me, pulling a few strings to make sure everything go as planned shouldn't be much of a problem and even if we didn't want to gain from the misfortune of others, we would still be able to escape being counted as suspects, but to make sure no words of what happened here get out of this group of people here, all of you will need to swallow death pills .

Evenbefore finishing his sentence a beam pierced through his wings and had him forcefully landing in the ground instantly, screaming in pain .
Unfortunately for all of you guys, i wasn't asking, you are either to swallow the pill as i said or you will have to go through me to get out of here .
It didn't take them that much time to decide what they were going to do, the swallowing sounds kept appearing one after the other, confirmed that and gave me a quite guess about the number of people which this team consist of .
This team consist of 6 to 5 members including the still unidentified team leader and the guy called Ludo, i believe all of them are of the SS ranks but their strength still quite vary, with the strongest being their leader .
After they swallowed all the so-called death pills, another item that i have never heard of, but i believe that pill effect was already apperant from its name and them describing using it as a drastic measure, but weird enough i believe that either i miss counted or someone didn't swallow his pill and if i the still blind guy was able to sense it, they most likely have too .
Then how could they still be so silent about it, was their something wrong with the guy who didn't swallow his pill, something tells me that guy was probably Ludo just from the fact that was the first to agree to the whole pill thing and the fact that his way of taking with the supposed leader was quite different from the normal leader and subordinate kind of conversation .
He didn't disregard of him or disrespect him in any way, but the tone of his voice when he spoke to him lacked of both the respect and fear that others have shown when they spoke to him so far .
Take the guy who was kissing the ground currently was quite an an example, even when he was clearly trying to express his opinion on the matter and just showing the smallest sign of disagreement with him, he was directly attacked and got smashed to the ground without any warning, he then just accepted it and never tried to opposes it anymore, he also probably realized that this matter wasn't worth getting so worked up over, nor was it probably worth provoking the team leader of his .
And another example was the other 3 or 4 who witnessed the scene didn't even raise their voices in support of theire comrades, the guy who got so agitated for them in the first place, they just let everything go just as fate willed it to go, meaning that they stood there doing nothing and waited for the reactions of both parties and even after their comrades was shot, the still acted as if they saw nothing .
But as for the guy called Ludo, his tone was a lot carefree and he always said what he wants without caring much about the reaction or how angry was that guy, so that's why i was beginning to feel that it might be him who didn't swallow the pill .
But i'm more curious to know why only him though, what kind of identity that guy have to even being exempted from doing these kind of things and that arrogant team leader didn't even spit a single word about it, so it's either that he trusted that guy, or that guy is from an even more prestigious lineage than that guy from the Dorell family, he might even be a direct descendant to strong people on the other side too.
While i was wondering about why the obvious difference in treatment, i began to sense a few movements from the team leader heading towards the fallen bodies of the bandits, he went to the corpse of the Dorell family member first, he kept rummaging through his clothes and turning him from one side to another as if he was searching for something .
But whatever he was looking for, he apparently wasn't able to find it and it clearly irritated him to the point that it led him to kick the corpse a few more times to blow away some of his annoyance .
He then once again turned to Ludo and said :
We will split it even, tell me where did he hide his wealth, a young man from such a prestigious family, even though he was an illegitimate child, he must have had his own spatial storing equipment .
Figures he would do that, after all from his point of view the net worth of a prestigious family member was still quite the gain and since he clearly wasn't able to find anything from his tries .
Then apperantly if he wanted to know where that guy had stored his wealth he will retort to the guy who have the most information and even memories of the victim .
But that quite arrogant and greedy guy being actually willing to share his gains with another person came to be a bit of surprise to me and also helped to assure some of the conclusion that i had already made about that guy Ludo's identity, who weirdly kept stealing glances towards me from time to time, tempting me to already blow my cover and beat him for it .
But i couldn't help but wonder , was he aware of me being awake all this time, or was it him just being wary of me, either way i will continue to monitor how everything goes .
I can tell you, but this will cost you another 20 percent of all the wealth that we will be able to get, what would you say .
He said in a nonchalant tone, i can't see any of the other guys present be able to speak to that leader of their in such a tone, so it was quite the special privilege that guy have, i thought the team leader was going to get angry even a little bit at how greedy that Ludo was, but again to my surprise he didn't and instead of being enraged, he actually began to negotiate with him saying :
20 is too much and i don't even know how much worth will we be able to get from that guy so make it 5 .
A ruthless counteroffer, i guess that's demon haggling for me, he directly went from 20 to directly reducing it to 5, but the reason he gave about having no clue about how much worth will they be able to even gain was quite the good excuse, but his argument and counteroffer once again failed to do its job in influencing that guy Ludo in the slightest as he resolutely said :
20 percent, you will be surprised how much wealth was this group able to amass in such a period of time, not to mention the truck filled with Beastfolk there, believe it or not those guys have even a secret lair where they have stored most of their wealth in, a lot of spatial rings were being stored there .
That truck they were pulling, actually have Beastfolk in it, this discovery came like as shocking to me at first, but when i thought about it clearly, i found the news to be absurdly compatible with the circumstances in here, in the end the two parties of Animagia and Diblosia were at war with each other, so both parties enslaving each other wasn't so much out of the picture .
But for Lora's sake, i will try to help those guys out of this predicament of theirs, hope she was able to go back to Animagia peacefully and was doing okay herself, that John should be still here in Diblosia so i might be able to encounter him after getting to know the directions to navigate through this land of course, i resumed focusing on the scene at hand and was able to hear Ludo continuing to say :
The guy in front of you held a lot of resources in his ring too, i can already judge how much did he value such a ring to the point of using drastic measure to keep it safe and hidden .
I can tell that the leader was convinced by that, or he was just a bit more happy to know about the secret lair which was mentioned as he once again counteroffered Ludo by saying :
But 20 percent more, that won't do i can utmost give you 10 more .
But the only answer he got was Ludo saying :
20 percent or we both go back with nothing but scraps .
The leader fell silent and stayed like that for a few seconds before he said with gritting teeth his last and final offer :
15 percent more or i would make sure both of us got nothing .
And for the first time the guy named Ludo disregarded of the superiority that the leader have and didn't gave him much a face as he said :
Sir, you shouldn't go around threatening people to do what you want, since you could very much end up being smashed into the wall, but 15 percent more is quite the enough sum for me, so i agree .
Even though by him agreeing, the leader got what he wanted but from his more heavy steps on the ground i can tell that he was no longer happy about this, he still swallowed his discomfort and said :
So mind telling me now where did that secret lair you mentioned was ? .
No need to hurry, we still didn't get the loot here after all, open that guy abdomen and you will be able to find his spatial ring .
Both parties were being to raise their guards against each other and the tension between them was now quite apperant, wealth is always the cause of conflicts .
The team leader swung his arm and that guy stomach was cut open, he then reached with his hand and picked something from inside, he then smiled and did the same for the other bodies still there, but wasn't able to found other than what he found .
But i'm sure he was more than happy with what he got from the smile that was plastered all over his face .

The team leader gave Ludo the ring and he got what he wanted then returned the rest back to the team leader, both of them completely disregarded the rest of the guys in the team and they didn't show any sign of objecting too, but suddenly that Ludo said something that completely took me by surprise :
shouldn't we finish dealing with that guy now that we are about to leave here .
You are probably right, he have been acting dead for quite sometime now, but do you really believe that guy to be of low rank, not everyone can stay still when i land on them, you know .
He might have some means to hide his strength, but his readings signature clearly state that he is of low rank, won't we able to find out once we test him .
I guess you are right, hey, the plague statue like guy over there, how long are you going tocontinue playing dead for, playing dead then why don't i let you have a taste of what death really looked like instead .
so i guess they were already aware of me being awoke all of this time, but since when did they know that i'm up, i already got enough information about everything that was going on this land .
