Chapter 99 - Invincible Tang Hao

This Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well belongs to the Tang family!

"Respected Dragon Kings, we don't wish to disturb your eternal slumber. We only seek the heavenly treasures around this area," Tang Hao asked respectfully.

"No," the Fire Dragon King replied coldly. "Everything here was formed by the energy we left behind. Therefore, it all belongs to us. Get lost."

Tang San snorted coldly and said, "You two are nothing more than dead souls. These treasures are for those capable enough to claim them. Since we discovered this place, there's no reason to walk away empty-handed."

As a former God King, Tang San certainly knew the true state of the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings. They had long since perished, and the remnants of their dragon souls shouldn't pose much of a threat. Besides, he had his invincible Papa.

"Papa."

After speaking, Tang San looked expectantly at Tang Hao—his meaning clear. He hoped his father would once again demonstrate his overwhelming power.

Tang Hao's face turned ashen. Of course he knew his own condition—his cheat power had already been sealed.

The strength he could now exert was his true, unboosted capability. Even though he was currently a Level 96 Titled Douluo, his battle prowess was far inferior to his rampage at Level 89 during the Tian Gu Ridge incident.

Originally, he had planned to negotiate peacefully with the Dragon Kings. But now, thanks to Tang San's bold declarations, things had reached a point of no return. He truly didn't know what to do.

"I've never seen a human so arrogant before us. Is it this Titled Douluo giving you the courage?"

The Ice Dragon King flew out, heading toward Tang San and Tang Hao.

Looks like I've got no choice but to rely on myself… These are two Dragon Kings, after all. Even if it's just their souls, they're still not something a lowly Titled Douluo can handle. I'll have to go all out and hope the Asura God in the upper realm gives me some behind-the-scenes help.

Tang Hao could only bite the bullet and charge forward.

First, he activated the Killing God Domain. The blood-red aura spread outward, but Tang Hao was disappointed to find it didn't bring the overwhelming power boost he once felt from it.

Yellow, yellow, purple, purple, black, black, black, black, red.

Nine spirit rings circled Tang Hao's body.

Tang San looked at the ninth blood-red spirit ring. He naturally assumed it was his mother's spirit ring.

Then Tang Hao shouted, "Martial Soul True Body!"

Above the canyon, a massive phantom of Tang Hao appeared, holding a colossal Clear Sky Hammer dozens of meters in size. A bloody aura surged outward from the phantom form.

"Ring Detonation!"

All of Tang Hao's spirit rings—except for the seventh—exploded into pure energy and surged into the Martial Soul True Body. As a result, the phantom form of Tang Hao grew even larger.

Papa, why'd you blow up Mom's spirit ring too?

In Tang San's memory, that ninth ring had symbolized his father's longing for his mother. Tang Hao had never detonated it—except for that one time, during the battle against Bibi Dong when Tang San had died in her hands.

Although he found it strange, Tang San didn't think too much of it.

The massive phantom of Tang Hao swung the Clear Sky Hammer down toward the Ice Dragon King.

"Decent presence. But it's all flash and no substance."

The Ice Dragon King stared at the hammer descending upon him. He opened his mouth, gathering intense cold energy, then released a chilling breath.

The moment that frosty breath met the falling Clear Sky Hammer, the difference in substance became immediately clear.

Tang Hao's killing aura was dispersed by the cold. Frost rapidly spread across the hammer's surface, and his giant phantom form was completely frozen within seconds.

By the time Tang San snapped out of it, his father had already turned into an ice sculpture.

"Papa..."

Tang San hadn't expected his invincible Papa to fall so quickly.

Under the torment of the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings—one cold, one hot—Tang Hao's body trembled violently.

Seeing his father was of no use, Tang San, now facing two Dragon Kings alone, had no choice but to lower his proud head.

"Respected Dragon Kings, we have disturbed your slumber. Please forgive our offense."

The Fire Dragon King had never intended to kill the two of them.

"To kill you would only taint this place. Since you know you're an eyesore, then kindly roll yourselves out."

"Yes… We'll leave immediately."

Tang San looked longingly at the mountains of priceless immortal herbs within the Ice-Fire Yin Yang Well, then turned to support his father and head out of the valley.

A wave of intense pressure suddenly descended upon them, forcing both Tang San and Tang Hao to their knees.

"I said roll. I didn't say walk. Be more obedient!"

The Ice Dragon King said coldly.

"Okay, okay, we'll roll! We'll roll!"

Tang Hao curled his body into a ball and began rolling along the ground.

Tang San hesitated for a moment.

I'm the chosen of destiny, the one selected by the Asura God, my future is limitless. I can't die here.

Swallowing his pride, he also curled himself into a ball and began rolling along beside his father.

Next moment, a dragon tail lashed out, swatting the two "meatballs" and sending them flying.

Tang San and Tang Hao landed on the outskirts of the Ice-Fire Yin Yang Well.

Tang Hao took the hit head-on with his body, while Tang San had cushioned his fall using Blue Silver Grass like a parachute.

Even so, the two were badly bruised. They had landed in an unfamiliar bush-covered area, shrouded in white mist with extremely low visibility.

Suddenly, a strange melody drifted to their ears—one Tang San knew all too well:

"Ah-k kuli hou ya hou ben~"

"Not this again… The Mist of Illusion."

Tang San gritted his teeth as a wave of bad memories hit him. He quickly turned to his father and said,

"Papa, we have to get out of here quickly, otherwise—"

But he stopped mid-sentence.

Tang Hao was gazing forward in a daze, his eyes filled with longing as he murmured,

"Ah Yin… Ah Yin, is that you?"

"Di-da-lu-gon-ga-o-da-hey~"

Tang San followed his father's gaze—and saw a seductive, graceful figure that had haunted his dreams for countless nights.

—A matured version of Xiao Wu.

"Xiao Wu… Is that you?"

Tang San's logical mind kicked in. He shook his head furiously and said,

 "No, you're not Xiao Wu."

But the enticing fragrance radiating from Xiao Wu's body deeply drew him in.

"Gei-sei-ge hummeyo ya la~ curry gei-sei hou da hey~"

Xiao Wu / Ah Yin slowly turned around and smiled tenderly at Tang Hao and Tang San, then gently reached out her hand to them.

Tang Hao was the first to lose control. He stood up and began walking toward Ah Yin.

Tears slid down Tang San's cheeks. He also stood up and slowly walked toward Xiao Wu.

His reason was blaring alarms—this is a trap.

But emotionally, it had been so long since he'd seen Xiao Wu look at him with such tenderness. Even if it was a lie, he wanted to believe this moment was real.

Tang San / Tang Hao each placed a hand onto the soft, furry hand of Xiao Wu / Ah Yin.

"Doo-loo-loo-loo-loo-loo~ doo-loo-loo-loo~"
