Tang Hao, meanwhile, was traveling through the valley with A Yin and Tang San.
His plan was to cross the Tian Gu Ridge and enter the nearby Luma Plain, close to Spirit Hall's Spirit City. By destroying a few Spirit Halls there, Spirit Hall would be forced to respond, drawing out Qian Xuanji.
Thinking back to his past life—how he earned his ninth hundred-thousand-year ring and the fame of the Clear Sky Douluo from Qian Xuanji and his team—Tang Hao grew eager.
Qian Xuanji, come already. My hammer can barely wait.
Suddenly, a harsh voice roared from behind, interrupting Tang Hao's daydreams.
"Tang Hao, you abomination—where do you think you're going!"
From the overwhelming surge of spirit power behind him, Tang Hao could tell: another Clear Sky Sect Title Douluo.
From the voice, it was Heaven-Breaker Douluo Tang Po. Tang Hao's face turned dark green.
This was not the opponent he wanted.
"Why… Why is the sect hunting me down like this?" Tang Hao's eyes turned red, his breath heavy with rage.
He didn't dare go all out against his own sect like he did with Spirit Hall. For now, he had no choice but to escape and shake off his pursuers.
Behind him, the Clear Sky Sect Title Douluo flew through the canyon using spirit power, rapidly closing the distance.
Tang Hao also activated his soul power, holding Tang San in one arm and pulling A Yin with the other, speeding through the valley.
Suddenly, ahead of them, an enormous surge of spirit power appeared. Tang Hao saw a small dot rapidly approaching.
"Tang Hao, you abomination—where are you running!"
As the figure grew clearer, Tang Hao saw it was Heaven-Destroyer Douluo Tang Mie, who blocked the path with his nine soul rings and the Clear Sky Sect's pursuing disciples.
"Another Clear Sky Sect Title Douluo," A Yin said bitterly.
"Don't be afraid, A Yin. I will protect you," Tang Hao said, sweat beading on his forehead.
"Save your posturing. If not for you, I wouldn't be in this situation at all," A Yin said coldly, unmoved.
Tang Hao said no more. Holding Tang San and pulling A Yin, he turned down another path before the two pursuing groups could fully encircle him.
Behind them, Tang Mie and Tang Po joined forces. The two elders ordered, "Tang Hao is ahead—pursue him!"
Tang Hao weaved through jagged rocks with two powerful Title Douluo hot on his heels.
Suddenly, from the sky ahead, a massive Clear Sky Hammer came crashing down.
Tang Hao immediately leapt aside with A Yin and Tang San. The spot where he stood was flattened by the massive hammer.
Looking up, Tang Hao saw another Title Douluo floating in the sky—surrounded by nine soul rings.
"That's Elder Tang Zhe," Tang Hao muttered grimly.
Counting the now-dead Tang Qi and the two elders chasing behind, the sect had sent four Title Douluo to hunt him down.
If they had been from Spirit Hall, Tang Hao would've been overjoyed—four more kills for his hammer.
But damn it, they were his own sect elders.
"With the Clearsky Hammer and the mighty Clear Sky Sect, the number one sect in the world... and yet we produced someone like you—a traitor who harmed brothers and elders and sided with a soul beast. This is a calamity." Tang Zhe looked down coldly.
From behind, the two other elders and their troops arrived, encircling Tang Hao, A Yin, and Tang San.
This time, Tang Hao had no choice but to fight—there was no escape.
With Tang Lie's reminder, the other disciples of the Clear Sky Sect immediately snapped back to their senses and lunged toward Ah Yin and Tang San.
One of the Clear Sky Sect Soul Douluo even raised his Clear Sky Hammer high and smashed it down toward Little San, clearly intending to crush him with a single blow.
Meanwhile, Tang Hao, who was locked in combat with three Title Douluo, had been keeping an eye on the situation below. Realizing the danger his son and Ah Yin were in, he could no longer hold back. His eyes turned bloodshot, his breath came in furious snorts, and he roared, "Little San! Ah Yin!"
Immediately after, a blood-red killing aura erupted from Tang Hao's body, dyeing his originally blue soul power—and his Clear Sky Hammer—blood-red.
Tang Hao's aura surged rapidly, instantly overwhelming the three elders.
Sensing this terrifying pressure, the three elders froze.
"This is impossible. Tang Hao only has eight—" Tang Mie hadn't even finished speaking before Tang Hao slammed into him with a hammer strike, sending him flying.
His body flew hundreds of meters, smashing into a towering mountain, which collapsed on impact.
"You—How could you…"
Tang Po and Tang Zhe didn't even have time to react before they too were struck down one after the other by Tang Hao's hammer.
"Who dares to hurt my son!" Having dealt with the three elders, Tang Hao descended from the sky and brought his Clear Sky Hammer crashing down on the disciple closest to his son and Ah Yin, reducing the man to a pile of blood and flesh.
Then, with another hammer strike from above, he crushed a disciple who was attempting to capture Ah Yin.
Tang Hao then shielded Ah Yin and Tang San behind him. One by one, he smashed any Clear Sky Sect disciple who approached, until he had carved out a 30-meter radius of empty space around them.
"Anyone who dares harm my son or steal my wife—dies! Whoever dares step forward—" Tang Hao's bloodshot eyes radiated a chilling killing intent that made everyone shiver in fear.
"Impossible…" Tang Lie muttered in disbelief.
The disciples of the Clear Sky Sect were all stunned by Tang Hao's terrifying aura and dared not move forward.
From the distance, three figures rose into the air—it was the three elders.
Tang Zhe, Tang Mie, and Tang Po each held a Clear Sky Hammer in one hand while clutching their chests with the other, blood seeping from the corners of their mouths.
"So terrifying… Is this really the Killing God Domain?" Tang Mie muttered, questioning everything.
Tang Zhe shook his head. "I've felt Sect Master Tang Chen's Killing God Domain. If his domain had been this strong, he wouldn't have barely won that fight against Qian Daoliu."
"Then what's going on with Tang Hao? He… he only has eight soul rings…" Tang Po couldn't believe it.
Feeling the soul power pressure from Tang Hao that rivaled even a Super Douluo, the three elders began to waver in their hearts.
In the Divine Realm, within the Eternal God Hall, Huo Yuhao sensed the state of mind of the three Clear Sky Sect elders and sneered:
"Want to retreat? Have you asked my Brother Huo yet? Tang Hao has killed so many of your people, and you're just going to follow your cowardly hearts like that? No matter the cost, you should make Tang Hao feel pain—shouldn't you?"
With every stroke of his pen, Huo Yuhao influenced all the Clear Sky Sect disciples—except Tang Lie. (...Kira vibes)
"Anyone who dares come within 30 meters—dies! If you want to die, then step forward!" Tang Hao pulled Ah Yin along and carried Little San as he walked forward, shouting warnings with every step.
His intimidation worked. With each step Tang Hao took, the Clear Sky Sect disciples backed away. Some even stumbled and fell, crawling backward with their hands to escape this killing god.
"No… No, stay away…"
"Tang Hao, don't kill me…"
"I don't want to die—!"
Seeing the disciples and elders of the Clear Sky Sect frozen in fear, Tang Hao finally let out a breath of relief. These people were, after all, the foundation of the sect. If possible, he truly didn't want to kill them. He hoped that with this show of strength, he could leave with Ah Yin and Tang San in peace.
Looking at the blood and gore scattered across the ground, cliffs, and trees, Tang Hao silently murmured his apologies and strode toward the edge of Heaven Valley Ridge.
Suddenly, something changed.
A Clear Sky Sect disciple's eyes turned blood-red, his breath ragged like a bull's: "Tang Hao, you killed my son and now want to walk away? Even if I die today, I'll take your bastard's life with me!"
"Tang Hao today your Dog bastard will die here"
"Tang Hao—die!"
"Even if I die today, I'll use my blood to nail you to the pillar of shame!"
The three elders, who had wavered earlier, now summoned their Clear Sky Hammers and flew at Tang Hao.
"Tang Hao, you've killed so many of our sect's disciples—I'll make you pay with your life!" Tang Mie roared, eyes bloodshot, breath heaving.
"Tang Hao, today it's either you or me!" Tang Po howled, gasping furiously.
"If I, Tang Zhe, as a Title Douluo of the Clear Sky Sect, am frightened by a mere Soul Douluo like you—then I'm unworthy of wielding the Clear Sky Hammer. Die!" Tang Zhe roared.
The sudden change left Tang Hao caught off guard.
Just moments ago, these same disciples had been frozen in fear from his aura—now they charged at him like men possessed, eyes bloodshot, panting violently.
"You… why… Why are you forcing me?" Tang Hao asked in anguish. "I didn't want to hurt you…"
But no one answered.
One disciple charged straight at Tang San in Tang Hao's arms. Without hesitation, Tang Hao swung his hammer, killing him instantly.
Another tried to grab Ah Yin—Tang Hao's hammer turned him into a splatter of flesh.
The Clear Sky Hammer danced in Tang Hao's hands like a storm. With each strike, a disciple fell.
The Killing God Domain had been pushed to its extreme.
"Fall back! I said fall back! Anyone who dares come closer—dies!" Tang Hao roared at the charging Clear Sky Sect disciples, hoping to stop them with another round of slaughter.
But now, his intimidation had lost all effect. One by one, the disciples charged into Tang Hao's domain like moths to a flame.
Tang Hao didn't want to hurt them, but they attacked relentlessly—some aiming to kill Ah Yin, others going for the life of little Tang San in his arms.
He was left with no choice but to fight back. And under the amplification of the Killing God Domain, every swing of Tang Hao's hammer carried murderous force—each strike claimed at least one life.
On a distant peak, Tang Lie watched the scene in the valley below with terror. The blood-red aura of the Killing God Domain had spread across the entire valley floor.
Each time Tang Hao swung his Clear Sky Hammer, a Clear Sky Sect disciple fell—their blood, limbs, shattered heads, and flying brains dyed the valley a deep crimson.
Even though their side had three Title Douluo, several Soul Douluo, and more than ten Soul Sages, Tang Lie could see no hope of defeating Tang Hao.
In the Divine Realm, within the Asura God Temple, the Asura God watched with a gloomy expression as the disciples of the Clear Sky Sect threw themselves at their deaths like moths to a flame. Each one of them spat filthy beastman slurs, using foul words to humiliate his precious treasure. The Asura God seethed with anger.
"This is the treasure I handpicked with the utmost care! Fine, fine, Clear Sky Sect — you've chosen the path of death."
The Asura God said with wrath in his voice.
He then increased the influence and amplification of the Asura Domain on Tang Hao.
Once, Tang Hao's Clear Sky Hammer had been aimed at the Spirit Hall, at his enemies.
Under his Clear Sky Hammer lay countless fallen Spirit Hall soul masters. With every swing, he felt a thrill — the exhilarating adrenaline rush of slaughter.
But in this carnage at Tian Gu Ridge, Tang Hao felt no joy at all.
Because under his hammer now were the lives of his fellow Clear Sky Sect disciples. Every swing only deepened his guilt.
"Why… Why are you forcing me?"
Tang Hao crushed another sect disciple with grief and rage, voicing a soul-shaking question.
"Why? Tang Hao, when you're slaughtering our sect's disciples, you ask us why?"
A Soul Sage charged at Ah Yin with his Clear Sky Hammer raised, but was instantly flattened by a blow from Tang Hao.
"The honor of the Clear Sky Sect is supreme. Even if I die today, I will kill that beast and erase the sect's disgrace!"
A Soul Duoluo Elder, knowing his death was imminent, self-detonated near Tang Hao, hoping the explosion would take down the beastman in his arms.
But the barrier formed by the Killing Domain shielded them from the explosion's aftermath.
Then, the three Title Douluo elders charged into the Killing God Domain without hesitation.
"Tang Hao, today one of us dies! Even if it means my death, I'll destroy that abomination in your arms!"
Tang Po charged in, activating his ninth soul skill, Heaven-Cleaving Strike, aiming his Clear Sky Hammer at Tang Hao and Tang San to kill the little one with the shockwave.
"You will not harm my son—!"
Tang Hao, eyes bloodshot and breathing like a raging bull, gripped his hammer tightly and struck straight at Tang Po.
Caught unprepared, Tang Po was smashed flying again.
"Forget the soul ring — I'll kill that seducing beast if it's the last thing I do!"
Tang Mie charged at Ah Yin and swung down his hammer.
"Ah Yin!"
Tang Hao, bloodshot and breathless, dashed in front of her and clenched his fist. Murderous aura gathered in his hand as he punched the Clear Sky Hammer.
Cracks like a spiderweb spread across Tang Mie's hammer from the impact point — and then it shattered.
Tang Hao had used his physical body to resist a top-tier Tool Spirit, the Clear Sky Hammer. Anyone who didn't know better would think Tang Hao's spirit was a Body Martial Soul.
As his martial soul shattered, Tang Mie coughed up blood.
"That's not even a martial soul—"
Tang Mie spat another mouthful of blood.
"Beastman abomination, die!"
Taking advantage of Tang Hao's focus on Tang Mie, Tang Zhe grabbed a Clear Sky Hammer and charged at Tang San.
"Don't touch my son!"
Tang Hao, now fully consumed by bloodlust, summoned a Clear Sky Hammer and hurled it at Tang Zhe.
The thrown hammer struck Tang Zhe's own hammer like it was hitting tofu, shattering it piece by piece, then struck his chest and sent him flying.
Tang Po, clutching his chest and wiping blood from his mouth, lay in a pile of rubble, staring at Tang Hao.
Tang Mie, bracing himself on a rock, struggled to stand, spitting more blood, also staring.
Tang Zhe broke free from the landslide that buried him. His chest was caved in from the hammer strike. He, too, stared at Tang Hao.
The Clear Sky Sect disciples within the Killing God Domain no longer attacked. They all looked toward the blood-drenched figure standing within the domain.
At this moment, it was as if an invincible soundtrack began playing around Tang Hao.
His eyes were crimson, one arm holding Tang San, the other gripping Ah Yin. His body was covered in the blood and flesh of his sect brothers. Around him lay scattered, broken corpses.
Blood-red murderous aura surged from him. Tang Hao let out a painful, beast-like roar:
"AAAAAAAHHHHH—!"
"I didn't want to hurt you!
But I cannot hand over Ah Yin or Xiao San!
Why… why must you force me, even if it means death?!"
Now, Tang Hao radiated overwhelming menace, sending chills through the air. Far from the battlefield, even Tang Lie had forgotten his hatred — all he felt now was fear.
In that moment, only one phrase could describe Tang Hao:
"Like a Demon who crawled out from hell, truly a calamity among men."
Tang Zhe turned to the other two elders:
"Can you still fight?"
"Barely."
Tang Po stood up.
Tang Mie coughed up blood.
"Even if it costs me my life, I'll take down that abomination. Tang Hao, today it's either you or me!"
Tang Zhe gathered his soul power and soared into the air:
"Form the Clear Sky Formation!"
The three elders rose. The remaining sect disciples quickly joined in. Blue soul power surged, forming a massive formation over the canyon. Blue light clashed violently with Tang Hao's blood-red aura.
Empowered briefly by the formation, the three elders raised their hammers and charged at Tang Hao.
"Clear Sky Nine Techniques – Break!"
"Clear Sky Nine Techniques – Shock!"
"Ninth Soul Skill – Heaven-Cleaving Strike!"
Two targeted Tang San, one aimed for Ah Yin.
A flicker of pain flashed in Tang Hao's crimson eyes. He closed them, and when he opened them again, only resolve and killing intent remained:
"I didn't want to do this… but you've left me no choice."
He grabbed his Clear Sky Hammer. His soul rings all exploded one after another, turning into pure soul power that surged into the hammer.
"Grand Sumeru Hammer!"
Tang Hao leapt into the air, landing in the middle of the three elders — one hammer swing for each.
One hammer shattered Tang Mie's spirit and sent him flying.
One hammer struck down on Tang Po from above, smashing him into the ground.
One hammer blasted Tang Zhe into a cliff, crumbling it and embedding his body deep in the stone.
The final blow shattered the Clear Sky Formation. Blood-red aura drowned it out, consuming all remaining disciples — none survived.
Tang Hao landed. His Clear Sky Hammer shrank and finally returned to his palm.
Tang Po pointed at him, gasping:
"Tang Hao… you abomination… even if I become a ghost, I will never forgive you…"
With those words, he died.
Feeling life fade from his body, Tang Mie used his final breath to curse:
"Tang Hao, you're soaked in the blood of your own kin. Even if you dyed the sea red, you couldn't wash away the blood-debt you carry — the sin you bear. Even generations from now, people will remember your name with hatred…"
And then he died.
Tang Zhe, hanging onto his last breath, asked bitterly:
"All for a soul beast… to go this far? Doesn't your heart ache? Can't you hear the Clear Sky Hammer crying? Tang Hao… when you die, how will you face the ancestors of the Clear Sky Sect?"
With that, he, too, passed.
