POV: Ember
I slammed the suitcase shut and threw it on the bed just as both men burst through the bedroom door.
"Don't pack," Ash said breathlessly. "Please. We'll tell you everything."
"You have fifty-seven minutes left," I said, not looking at them. "Start talking."
Cade sat heavily in the chair by the window. "Where do we even begin?"
"How about with the truth?" I snapped. "Were you really going to let me live the rest of my life thinking I was crazy?"
"We thought we were protecting you," Ash said quietly. "The doctors said pushing too hard could damage your mind forever."
I finally turned to face them. "My mind was already damaged by not knowing who I really was."
Cade rubbed his face with his hands. "You want the whole truth? Fine. I was supposed to marry Victoria Sterling to unite two packs. But when your omega scent hit me during the Christmas festival, everything changed."
"Changed how?"
