c131: Super Saiyan God Red vs. Super No. 17
Super 17's crimson eyes widened at the sight before him. The fiery red aura, calm yet divine, was unlike any energy signature he had ever scanned.
"W-What are you?!" he demanded, his sensors unable to register Luya's power level.
Luya's voice was calm and steady. "This… is Super Saiyan God."
"Super Saiyan… God?" Super 17's expression hardened, irritation flashing in his eyes. "Whatever tricks you have, you'll still be reduced to scrap beneath my hands!"
"Is that so?" Luya's grin turned sharp. In a blur, he vanished.
Crack!
His knee smashed into Super 17's stomach, launching the android through several hills, each crumbling on impact. Before the debris settled, Luya flickered and disappeared again.
Boom!
A surge of black aura erupted from the ruins as Super 17 shot into the sky. He halted midair just in time for Luya to reappear in front of him.
Wham!
Luya's fist connected squarely with his chest. A spray of liquid splashed from Super 17's mouth not blood, but thick, black coolant fluid.
Super 17 wiped it away, glaring. "You… your power is different. Even my systems can't process it…"
Luya smirked. "What's wrong? Didn't expect divine energy to bypass your absorption systems?"
Super 17's eyes narrowed. With a snarl, he raised a palm, gathering a seething ball of black energy. "Let's see you withstand this!"
He hurled it forward, the attack shrieking through the air.
"Perfect," Luya said softly, cupping his hands. "Kamehame HA!!"
A brilliant blue wave of ki clashed with Super 17's black sphere. The collision tore the skies apart in a violent storm of energy, the explosion rattling the island itself.
When the light faded, both fighters hovered where they were, glaring into each other's eyes.
"Is that really all?" Luya's voice carried a mocking edge. "You're supposed to be the 'ultimate android,' yet without draining energy, you're nothing but a pile of circuits."
Super 17's silence was more dangerous than any words. His smirk twitched into a cold sneer.
Luya's aura blazed brighter. The fiery red ki licked upward, shimmering with godly intensity. His power doubled in an instant. "Let's make this clear. I'm not here to entertain you. I'll teach you what it means to face a true warrior!"
"Ridiculous!" Super 17 roared, launching himself forward with a flurry of blows.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Their fists collided in a storm of shockwaves. At first, Luya defended, his arms deflecting each rapid strike. Then Super 17 slipped a heavy punch into his guard, forcing Luya back. A spinning kick followed
Snap!
Only to be caught in midair.
"What?!" Super 17's eyes widened.
Luya's grin widened. "Without constant absorption, this is your limit? How disappointing." He yanked the android down, flipped beneath him, and kicked upward with both feet.
BOOM!
Super 17 rocketed into the sky, only to be intercepted by Luya a heartbeat later.
Smash!
One crushing punch drove him into the earth, creating a massive crater.
Hovering above, Luya taunted: "Tell me, can your machine body really withstand divine punishment?"
From the pit, Super 17 slowly rose, brushing off rubble. "You're fast, but your strikes lack effect. I'm an android. Pain means nothing to me."
"Is that so?" Luya's form flickered, and suddenly he was at Super 17's side.
Crack!
A single red-tinged punch sent him tumbling, coughing coolant again. Before Super 17 could recover, time itself seemed to bend, Luya's punch froze midair, then struck with unstoppable force.
BOOM!
Super 17 spat black fluid, his systems rattling.
"Impossible…! Even Goku's attacks never made me falter like this!"
Luya's voice was calm and merciless. "You said pain doesn't matter. Then I'll keep pushing until your circuits overload."
Super 17 snarled, raising both arms, unleashing a barrage of black energy shells. He spun, firing in every direction, detonating the field.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Flashes of crimson light darted between the blasts. Luya burst through the smoke, cloaked in red aura, and smashed straight into Super 17's face.
BAM!
The android flew backward again, skidding across the shattered ground.
But he recovered quickly, smirking. With a flick of his wrists, he opened his palms wide, allowing Luya's follow-up volley of energy blasts to strike him.
Bzzzt! His body absorbed every spark, swelling with power.
"Hahaha! Fool! Don't you realize every blast makes me stronger?!" His aura flared violently, his strength climbing higher with each absorption.
Still, Luya didn't relent. His hands blurred as he unleashed a storm of crimson ki orbs.
Super 17 absorbed them all, his body trembling as his systems overloaded, surging with unstable power.
"Stupid Saiyan!" he roared. "Your energy only fuels me!"
But Luya's smirk remained. "You don't understand, do you? God ki isn't like ordinary energy. Keep absorbing it… and you'll tear yourself apart."
Super 17's body convulsed, his power spiking dangerously. The ground shook, the air warping around him as his systems struggled to stabilize the divine energy.
Vegeta, watching from afar with Gohan and the others, clenched his fists. His voice was low and grim. "That aura… it's not regular ki. It's divine. No wonder even 17 can't control it."
Trunks looked on, eyes wide. "So that's why… even Super No. 17 is struggling?"
Vegeta's gaze stayed locked on Luya's blazing red form. "Tch. Damn it… once again, Kakarot isn't the only one beyond me."
On the battlefield, the clash reached its peak.
Luya's aura surged like a living flame. He pointed at the trembling android below him.
"This ends now, 17. Let's see how much more of my godhood you can handle!"
