c76: Luya Arrives! Fight Against Fake Vegeta
The newcomer wore a green battle suit, short hair fluttering in the breeze, it was Luya.
"Huh! You finally came!" the real Vegeta exhaled in relief. Luya's power rivaled his when Luya used Kaiō‑ken, Vegeta couldn't even block.
"Brother Luya!" Trunks and Goten gasped in surprise.
"Long wait!" Luya replied with a cool grin, eyes narrowing at Copy‑Vegeta even more threatening than Vegeta himself.
Bang! Copy‑Vegeta sneered. "I thought it was Kakarot arriving! It's you, after all."
Luya smiled, cool as ever: "No disappointment, I'm here to teach you what 'defeat' means."
"Ridiculous." Copy‑Vegeta sneered.
"Leave the kids be and absorb their energy do you understand?!" Greer barked.
Copy‑Vegeta's eyes hardened: "Don't order me."
"What did you say?!" Greer scoffed Copy‑Vegeta was supposed to obey him?
Phew! A blinding surge of ki shot from Luya, slamming into Greer.
"No—NO!" Greer panicked too late and was wiped out in the blast.
Copy‑Vegeta stared at Luya. "Who gave you clearance?"
Luya shrugged, amused: "I thought you didn't like being bossed around."
Vegeta smirked.
Clatter! Luya touched down before Vegeta. "Your turn."
"Ha! You're bold! Since Universe 6, I've wanted to punch you! Why are you standing above me, prey?" Copy‑Vegeta grinned, powering up instantly!
Luya's grin deepened he surged forward, and their ki erupted like twin supernovas.
"Move back—now!" Vegeta shouted. Trunks and Goten ran for cover, then watched from a safe distance.
"Dad, will Luya win?" Trunks asked.
Vegeta folded his arms, eyes on the duel: "Who knows?"
They locked eyes.and with a roar:
"Drink!" Vegeta shouted, charging at Luya and delivering a crushing punch.
Luya reacted instantlyblocking with his fist and countering.
Snap!
But Copy‑Vegeta grabbed Luya's arm midblock!
Locked in close combat, the two Saiyans lunged and countered in perfect rhythm.
Bump!
Haaah!
They clashed skyward, ki roaring.
"His strength's increasing again!" Vegeta watched, tension in his jaw. "Luya never stops improving!"
Indeed while Vegeta and Kakarot are near their peak, Saiyan after Saiyan trains to break past limits; Luya's growth curve is astounding.

"Galick Cannon!" roared Copy‑Vegeta.

Vegeta frowned, transfixed.
"That clone's not going all out but why is Luya holding back?" Vegeta wondered. He disliked passivity, even in a perfected copy.
Suddenly, Vegeta's figure flickered becoming translucent.
"Dad!" Trunks and the old man cried out.
"He's fading!" the hermit warned, heart pounding.
Vegeta turned to him: "What do we do?"
The hermit swallowed hard. "Only way: undo that copy. Find the Superhuman Water core fragment destroy it, and cut off the imposter's power!"
Vegeta's scowl deepened. He stared into the sky, eyes like steel.
"Trunks, Goten search where Greer fell. If any Superhuman Water debris remains, we must destroy it!"
"Got it!" The boys sprinted off.
Jak didn't move. Vegeta cast him a cold glare but said nothing.
Back to the fight: Copy‑Vegeta and Luya resumed their brutal dance of fists. The copy's strength surpassed Vegeta's norms—Luya wouldn't win quickly.
"Luya! Defeat this fake now or it'll overpower us all!" Vegeta's voice cracked across the battlefield.
Luya hesitated—but steeled himself.
Boom! Copy‑Vegeta powered up, sprouting golden hair full Super Saiyan power—and struck Luya in the gut, then kicked him across a valley!
"Ohhhhh!" Luya cried, crashing through hills!
Vegeta clenched his fist, face darkening he'd had enough.
"Too cocky," Copy‑Vegeta taunted as he closed in.
