Kara was sixteen years old and already it was Navitas break. She was with her family and friends, the pack as they grilled freshly caught vension that evening.
It was a movie and dinner in a park where majority of the pack came out to just have fun and celebrate. It was open to the public and thousands of wolves were there.
Kara sat on a blanket with Zhiliary and Derrick and Riley, Monica and Doureena. Abel wasn't coming down for the break due to a big presentation he had to give at a conference in a couple of weeks.
Kara played with the two toddlers Derrick had, one being Little Jacob and the other being Riley Jr. Once the festivities were over, Kara walked hand and hand down the main street, waving hi and bye to people.
They came to Zhiliary's apartment where Kara was led inside. The two talked over hot cocoa and ended up in Zhiliary's bed room. Kara was quiet as she sat on the edge of the bed. She looked at the Alpha. So confused and so torn how someone so sweet and kind could also be so evil. This Alpha had killed, raped, stolen and yet here she was treating Kara as if she were the apple of her eye.
Zhiliary leaned in and kissed Kara and the two were on the bed with one another, clothes falling to the ground, noises being made.

Kara was going to continue her education and she was going to try and become a spell researcher, someone who made new spells basically. By her fifth year at Faelock, she had already crafted two new spells that had her recognized throughout the country. She was even featured in news articles and magazines within Nadia for her work.
At the age of eighteen and in her seventh year, she graduated and was offered a position at Hacate's Research Center at the university. Of course she took it, even though she found out three months later that she was pregnant.
Zhiliary was ecstatic and wanted Kara to stay home and take care of the baby, Kara refused and Zhiliary didn't argue with the woman, after all...she was a witch and had grown more powerful than Zhiliary, not in strength or speed but spell casting. There were even some spells Kara could do without her wand. The Omega made it very clear in the beginning, Zhiliary had no power over her. That was fine. As long as Kara was happy with Zhiliary then that meant less influence Sous had on her.
The night before Kara was to leave for her new job in Hacate, her and Zhiliary had made love. She absolutely loved the size of Zhiliary and how the Alpha felt inside of her. She was going to miss it but she would be back once she gave birth, and twice a year for five years until her contract was over.
Sous had found out Kara was married from Monica who wrote her a letter. Now twenty, the years were slowly ticking away with nothing to distract Sous but for the news she would get from friends and people she would considered friends.
It was disappointing for the Alpha to learn the woman she wanted was with another, married, mated, and expecting a baby. She was happy though at how far Kara had come when it came to her schooling.
Sous wasn't as strong as she used to be. That she knew. She wasn't allowed to spar and definitely wasn't allowed to cast spells. The only thing she was able to practice was weight lifting and exercising to keep her stamina up.
She folded the letter and placed it under her pillow where a lot of letters were staked. She laid down on her cot with her arms behind her head.
Thibodeux was released, no longer there. Daniel had his length extended because of another fight and this time, he lost a wing. That was another thing Sous had her wings now. Apparently when a pixie gets their wings, its suppose to be a special ceremony although Sous was mixed with fairy and fairies were born with wings, the prisoners still came forward and held a celebration for her.
She smiled to herself thinking about it, still, she hadn't heard from Tany nor Zan. Both children should be about four or five and Sous received no updates. She wrote and wrote and wrote and nothing.
An inmate told Sous to obtain a lawyer so she could argue for visitation rights, but she didn't want to do that. She didn't want to fight and she didn't want to put her children through that. Plus it cost money and though she had money, she didn't want to spend it on that.
Sous turned on her side and looked at the wall, she had fifteen years left. Fifteen years...
