Chapter 133 - Chapter 133: The Meeting

Chapter 133: The Meeting

Kaido, in his dragon-man form, was covered in nearly indestructible blue scales. He dragged a long, thick dragon tail, and his head sported both oni and dragon horns. His powerful eyes radiated a chilling red light, and his sharp teeth moved slightly as he slowly exhaled a breath of hot air.

"I always thought there was only one person left of the Lunarian race. I never thought I'd have such a great harvest by coming here on a whim."

Kaido looked up, his gaze first sweeping over Yelena, who was striding straight toward the two Marine Vice Admirals. Then he looked at the grand battlefield in the distance, and his eyes finally landed on Amit's burly frame.

The next moment, his cavernous mouth, large enough to swallow a child, split open in a terrifyingly chilling laugh. "Worororo!"

"You're strong. Among pirates, you're only a little weaker than Linlin, me, and Whitebeard at the top. You, along with that brat named Louis and my daughter, should join my pirate crew!"

Kaido made a grasping motion with his hand, a hint of excitement flashing in his eyes, his tone becoming more and more impassioned. "As long as you join my crew, then even if Linlin and that old geezer Whitebeard team up, they won't be a match for us!"

Kaido's crazed words made the faces of the two from the Marine side and the two from the Big Mom Pirates change. If this really happened, then the New World would truly become the backyard of the Beasts Pirates!

The Lunarian who had appeared out of nowhere was already giving them a fatal sense of crisis, not to mention Louis, who was in a fierce battle with two Admirals in the distance. Adding to that, the fact that one of the Archangel Pirates was Kaido of the Beasts' child made the probability of them joining forces extremely high. If they really did team up, the other two pinnacle existences in the New World wouldn't even dare to sleep too soundly.

To this, Amit said nothing. He simply raised his bone-white spear and controlled the flames on his back to extend forward, coiling around it. Then, under everyone's gaze, he instantly disappeared. When he reappeared, he had already crossed several hundred meters, and the flame-wreathed spear was thrusting toward Kaido's chest.

Seeing this, Kaido was not angry, but pleased. The smile on his face grew even wider. "In that case, I'll beat you first, then we'll talk!"

Kaido was long accustomed to this. Except for one, the vast majority of the pirates under his command were his defeated foes.

He laughed wildly and charged forward, rapidly swinging his Hassaikai club, which was wreathed in Conqueror's Haki, to meet the spear that was tearing through the sky.

The two figures, moving as blurs that the naked eye could not follow, tore through the sound barrier and rushed toward each other, then violently collided.

BOOM! A sound like a meteorite crashing into the earth pierced through the entire sea area. A destructive shockwave instantly tore apart half the already ravaged glacier. Under the violent tremor, an endless amount of seawater shot up high from the cracks in the ice, turning into a torrential downpour that rained down from the sky.

Amit and Kaido were locked in a stalemate in mid-air. The bulging veins and twitching muscles on each other's faces were clearly visible. Feeling his opponent's extremely tyrannical strength, the fighting spirit on Kaido's face grew even stronger. "Worororo!"

Kaido's hands bulged with power, and he once again unleashed a mighty force, knocking away the bone spear that was in a stalemate with his Hassaikai, forcing the tall and burly Amit to spread his wings to stay airborne.

Immediately after, Kaido raised the Hassaikai, which was wreathed in Conqueror's Haki, above his head. He spun it at high speed with both hands, accumulating power.

"Conqueror of Three Worlds: Ragnarok!"

With an excited laugh, the Hassaikai, coiled with black and red arcs of electricity, came crashing down, striking the blood-stained face of Amit.

Amit couldn't dodge in time and was hit in the side of the face by the blow. Without a sound, he plummeted rapidly, shattering a several-thousand-meter-wide piece of the glacier before disappearing into the deep sea.

Seeing this, a look of shock appeared on Kaido's twisted face. "That feeling... was it not effective?"

Soon, he thought of the reason, and a look of understanding appeared on his face. "I almost forgot. The defense of the Lunarian race reaches an unbelievable level when the flames on their backs are lit."

BOOM—

Just then, the surface of the sea exploded in a hundred-meter-high spout of water. A soaking wet dark figure flew into the air and kicked Kaido in the chest.

The atmosphere roiled, and a huge wave rose on the sea. Under this blow, Kaido crashed at high speed into a glacier fragment. After shattering dozens of wave-shaped icebergs, he steadied himself with his Hassaikai.

Just as Kaido looked up, a spear wreathed in searing flames once again charged into his field of vision. Seeing it, Kaido instantly opened his cavernous mouth, and a dangerous firelight brewed within.

"Blast Breath!"

A searing pillar of fire shot out, directly enveloping the high-speed attacking figure. An invisible gale swept up, sending countless ice shards swirling around the pillar of fire, scattering them to the horizon.

Although the Lunarian race was naturally immune to the burning of flames and gained unimaginable defense when their fire was lit, in the searing pillar of fire, Amit was still pushed back by the massive shockwave, forced to stab his bone spear into the ice to barely stop his momentum.

Just then, the searing pillar of fire disappeared. The tall, burly dragon-man had, at some point, flashed in front of Amit. He swung the kanabō, which was wreathed in Conqueror's Haki, in an impenetrable flurry, completely enveloping Amit in his attack range.

"Kundali: Dragon Swarm!"

Amit narrowed his slightly cloudy eyes. The giant bone spear in his hand was covered in indestructible Armament Haki, and with equally fierce momentum, he blocked Kaido's impenetrable barrage. For a moment, the sound of metal clashing continuously erupted, and the huge impacts created visible ripples in the atmosphere.

The next moment, Amit and Kaido broke off at the same time, both retreating many steps to face each other.

Kaido looked at the man shouldering the kanabō, his entire body exuding an extremely tyrannical aura, a wanton smile on his face. "You're very skilled. You must have been active on the sea for some time in the past, right? An unknown person wouldn't have such rich combat experience!"

To this, Amit was panting slightly, his gaze firmly locked on Kaido's figure, still with no intention of speaking.

Kaido saw this, tilted his head, and asked bluntly, "Are you a mute?"

Amit did not speak, but silently raised the spear that was as thick as a normal person's thigh.

"Tch—how boring."

Kaido was very annoyed by the other's silence. He then took the kanabō from his shoulder, preparing to start a second round with this rare powerhouse.

However, just then, a white figure was sent flying from the distance, tearing through the sound barrier and crashing between the two of them after shattering several icebergs.

"Ahem..." A weak cough sounded from the huge, deep pit, attracting the attention of the two.

Immediately after, a golden beam of light streaked across the sky, converging into a human form at the edge of the pit and revealing a slightly cheeky face. At the same time, a figure clad in heavy armor, holding a sword and spear, slowly materialized in mid-air.
