On the other side, Squad A also starts facing trouble. The guards no longer allow them the same freedom they had on days two and three. Their movements are restricted, and it is clear the guards are beginning to suspect them of spying.
By evening, Samarth manages to contact Squad A and explains how Squad B was spotted and that they are now heading south. Vidhan responds calmly, telling Samarth to prioritize the team's safety over the mission. He assures him that they will stay in constant contact throughout the next day, reporting anything important as it happens.
Day four ends on that uneasy note.
On day five, while on the move, Squad B notices guards already positioned in the southern part of the forest, as if they know exactly where the team is heading. At the same time, Squad A is ordered to stay inside their quarters. The excuse given is that Chinese Empire soldiers have been spotted nearby, which is clearly a lie.
This time, Snehil contacts Squad A and informs them that guards are blocking the southern route, so Squad B is moving southwest at a faster pace to avoid being seen. Purnima shares their situation as well, saying they feel trapped inside their quarters and have been completely restricted from going out.
