In a distant land beyond the universe,
Serafina was soaring through space, traveling from one universe to another aimlessly, simply exploring.
"Hmm… how boring, what should I do now? I'm dying of boredom."
She began flipping and twirling in the air as she thought.
"I've got it! What if I go there? That's an excellent idea!"
Serafina shot off toward one of the universes, her speed filled with excitement and energy.
In just a brief moment, she entered the universe and found herself standing before a golden door, pure and radiant, shining brilliantly.
She slowly opened the door, which let out a mighty sound that echoed across the horizon.
The moment it opened, a dazzling light burst forth, so bright that Serafina had to shut her eyes.
When she opened them again, she was met with the sight of an enormous, endless library, so vast it felt like a continent.
Serafina was struck with awe at the sheer scale of the place and the countless historical and mythical books it contained.
She wandered through the halls, utterly amazed, as if the entire history of the cosmos was written and preserved here.
Then she noticed a peculiar book, one that stood out from all the rest. It was titled "The Cosmic Text." Something about it pulled her in—it radiated an extraordinary aura unlike any other book.
Serafina picked it up and opened it.
The moment she did, a great light erupted, shaking the stability of both time and the cosmos.
Moments later, the light vanished, and everything returned to normal.
Serafina, trembling and fearful, muttered in a shaky tone:
"What is this thing? Is this even a book?!"
She began reading, but what she found inside was beyond comprehension—a story so grand she couldn't even understand it:
> "Before there was the thing and the nothing, before eternity, existence, and nonexistence, before the story even began, there came two who had no name, no description, only titles:
The First Light, the Story, the Things, the First Beginning, the One, the Light before Eternity.
The First Darkness, the Nothing, the Destroyer, the Maker of Chaos, the Darkness before Eternity, the Void.
They arrived together, yet they never agreed…
Never.
The First Light desired a world of existence, of bliss, of peace and beauty.
The First Darkness desired a world of nothingness, of ruin, of chaos and destruction.
From their conflict, an eternal war erupted, each seeking to impose their will upon the other.
Their battle was incomprehensible; everything they did could not be understood, for they were both everything and nothing at once.
Even the Storymaker could not imagine their forms or describe them, for they were beyond his comprehension.
Their struggle was endless. Every strike they dealt created universes, existence, and nonexistence. Every word they spoke birthed concepts and laws.
Many sought to reach them, but none could, for they were untouchable, unreachable.
From them came all things and all nothing, and it is said they existed before beginnings and eternity itself, before the first page was written, before the end.
None could understand what they spoke. They had no voices for creatures to hear, no language for creation to grasp.
Each began their own story: one of nothingness and chaos, the other of existence and peace.
They are the Absolute and Supreme Origin of existence and nonexistence—no, beyond even that. They existed before the idea of origin itself.
The End."
Serafina flipped through the pages in confusion, searching for a single clear line, but found nothing.
The book contained words, but she could neither see nor comprehend them.
Annoyed, Serafina tossed the book aside and muttered:
"What's with that book? I'll go find another one."
As soon as the book hit the ground, it closed shut, and from it emerged a light. Not an ordinary light—no, this was a simple, subtle light from the First Light itself.
Serafina thought aloud:
"So then… what is Zaloria doing now? Should I spy on her again? I've been getting bored anyway… besides, she discovered me the last time."
Suddenly, a man appeared, sitting casually while reading a book. He wore glasses, one leg crossed over the other, and spoke in a cold, flat tone:
"And who is this girl… Zaloria?"
Serafina glared:
"What are you doing here?"
The man replied calmly:
"This is my library, you fool. And that light earlier… what was that? Diablo was furious, he nearly killed me."
Serafina snapped back:
"That doesn't matter right now. Tell me—what is that book?!"
She pointed directly at The Cosmic Text.
The man shrugged:
"That one? I don't know what it is. I found it somewhere in space and brought it here."
Serafina sighed:
"Your obsession with books… whatever, I'm leaving."
The man warned:
"Don't come back again. Understood?"
Serafina smirked:
"Fine."
With that, she burst out into the vastness of space once more, shouting with excitement:
"The journey begins! To find a worthy opponent who can face me!"
Then, with a twisted grin and loud laughter, she declared:
"A worthy opponent? Hah! That thing hasn't even been born yet!!"
To be continued…
