Chapter 76 - "Shadow of Freedom: Birth of the Era of Freedom and Justice"

Ryo was walking through the streets of the capital, searching for food.

Whenever he passed by someone, they were astonished by his strange appearance and wondered why he was crying endlessly without stopping.

Ryo said to himself:

"This life is so difficult… there's no shelter left."

After some time walking, he reached a food shop and took a large amount of food.

The seller was surprised at first and asked:

– "Where will you put all this?"

But Ryo didn't answer. Instead, he opened his pocket dimension and stored the food inside.

Ryo felt the amount of oppression and slavery in that kingdom, and he began to pity the people living there.

He said to himself:

"I want to free them."

From there, he headed toward the tower, determined to reach Loris.

He began climbing.

The first floor, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, and up to the tenth… he cleared them easily.

But the difficulty increased the higher he climbed.

At the twentieth floor, Ryo noticed that monsters began dropping weapons and tools after dying, but they were not of good quality. He didn't care much.

In the end, he decided to rest on that floor and continue the next day.

After a day, he woke up and continued his journey inside the tower.

Days passed: two, three, four… On the fifth day, he reached the hundredth floor, the end.

It was different from the other floors. The monsters there had dark and gloomy energy, more than any creature he had faced before.

They suddenly attacked him from two sides, but Ryo grabbed their blades easily and broke them. Then, with a single snap of his fingers, a gust of wind shattered their bodies into pieces.

Unlike the other monsters, these ones dropped powerful weapons:

– The first dropped a deadly poison, level 18.

– The second dropped a vanishing armor, level 23.

Then suddenly, hordes of monsters flooded in from every direction until they surrounded him.

One of them shouted:

– "Don't be afraid! He can't see anything… We outnumber him, the advantage is ours!"

Ryo smirked mockingly and wrote a magic incantation with his hand, saying with excitement:

"I don't need sight to kill insects like you! I know your numbers, and even if I can't see, I feel everything around me… the ground, the wind, the sound of your breaths… I hear them all. Come at me!"

They all rushed at him, but he didn't move from his place nor look their way.

"So weak…" he said with sarcasm.

Suddenly, a storm of thunder erupted around him, sweeping through everything in front of him, destroying over a thousand monsters in less than ten seconds.

Ryo advanced until he reached a golden gate.

As soon as he opened it, fiery arrows shot toward him, but they shattered the moment they touched him.

He smiled and said:

"Such good armor… I like it!"

Two men came out from behind him and tried to punch him, but Ryo disappeared from their sight.

One of them shouted:

– "Where did he go?!"

Ryo appeared behind them, grabbed their heads, and crushed them into pieces with his hands.

There, he saw a man bound by white chains, and beside him, a golden being chained by the same bindings.

They were sleeping.

Ryo freed them from the chains, and they woke up quickly, terrified, as if they had been trapped in a nightmare.

When they opened their eyes, they found no one before them, only food left behind by Ryo. He had already vanished.

Loris said in shock:

– "Who freed us?"

The golden being answered indifferently:

– "Does it matter? There's food… I haven't tasted anything in centuries!"

They both began eating greedily, not knowing who had helped them.

After a short time eating, Loris and the golden being fully regained their strength.

But this time, they were very angry.

Just one day later, they left the tower, where they met Andreas, who helped them.

After a month, they formed a massive campaign against the emperor and the nobles.

And within a single year, the emperor's rule fell, and it was all over…

Of course, it was all thanks to Ryo, who had helped them from the shadows without them knowing.

After freeing the empire and its people from tyranny, Ryo sat thinking:

"What should I do now?"

In the end, he decided to train in another dimension.

There, he entered harsh isolated training.

On the first day, Ryo wanted to discover the strength of the lost element.

But he didn't even understand what it was.

He said to himself:

"It's not fire, nor water, nor ice, nor earth, nor even void… What is this thing?"

Suddenly, he heard the voice of the system:

– "It is your imagination."

Ryo was shocked:

– "What do you mean?! And where have you been all this time?"

The system replied:

– "I was hidden for the past three years, because I was analyzing this lost element."

Ryo shouted:

– "Three whole years, and you were analyzing it?!"

– "Yes."

– "And what did you find?"

The system said seriously:

– "It is the origin! All the main and sub elements were born from the imagination of a single man. He grasped the origin, then taught people how to imagine and control it. As time passed, many other elements were born, but they forgot the true element… the lost element.

The sun, the moon, the void, and the lost… these are the beginning, the eternal pure energy.

From them, everything was born: life, the universe, the laws, the system… all came from that origin.

The lost element is imagination, and it is the origin of all elements."

Ryo smiled and murmured:

"I see…"

Then he sat in deep meditation, determined to improve his soul before strengthening his body.

---

In the empire.

Rumors began to spread about a completely white child who had helped Loris regain his rule, but had done so from the shadows.

This rumor spread from a man named Andreas, who only wanted Ryo to be remembered, to let everyone know his greatness and how he had helped the people.

As for the imperial palace, Loris destroyed it completely, and every piece of gold and silver inside was distributed to the people until not a single person remained poor in the empire.

Andreas became Loris's new deputy, and the golden being who was with Loris from the beginning was the first golden creature ever to exist in the universe. Because of this, the empire was divided into two parts:

– One part for the golden beings, ruled by the first golden being, "Helios."

– The other part remained for humans, ruled by Andreas.

But the empire as a whole was ruled by Loris, the "Supreme Ruler."

After the fall of the emperor, peace spread across the empire.

Rumors spread of "the white child" who had helped Loris, though no one knew who he really was.

Andreas spread this rumor, wanting Ryo's greatness to be remembered.

The imperial palace was destroyed completely, and all its gold and silver were distributed to the people. No one remained poor.

Andreas became Loris's deputy, and the golden being, the first golden creature in existence, ruled part of the empire.

The empire was divided:

– The golden beings' side was ruled by Helios, the first golden being, bearer of the sun's light.

– The human side was ruled by Andreas.

But the empire as a whole was ruled by Loris, the Supreme Ruler.

---

Thus, even though Ryo vanished from sight, he became a legend whispered across the empire:

The Shadow Who Brought Change.

The White Child.

The Angel of Freedom.

The Crying Child.

The Eternal in Freedom.

From him, a new era of peace, power, and justice was born.

Ryo didn't know his actions were carved into the hearts of the people, nor that Andreas built a statue of him to immortalize his name.

He helped the empire from the shadows, never wanting glory.

But Andreas wanted the opposite—he wanted Ryo remembered forever.

To be continued…
