I take a deep breath, telling myself for the last time to stop blushing like an idiot. Lucien has been overly sweet since our intimate encounter, and it makes my heart race out of control.
I finally walk into the grocery shop after minutes of telling myself to calm the fuck down.
Now I'm jobless, I have to fill in the loopholes. I just can't stay at home all day, it'd be so boring, and meeting Irene is kind of difficult nowadays since she's spending so much time with her 'boyfriend.'
Lucien would flip out if he found out I came to this place all on my own. Gosh, it's suffocating to have guards or someone watching you all the time.
I quickly buy all the groceries we'd need back at home and pay with Lucien's card.
