We finally arrive at the destination for our date. It's at a beach.
"You didn't say we were coming to swim. I would have brought swimsuits," I whine, looking at the waves slapping the shore.
"Oh, we didn't come to swim."

Warmth fills my chest at his words. Butterflies are throwing a party in my stomach, causing flutters, and wild backflips.
"This is lovely. Thank you," I lean closer to him, placing a soft peck on his cheek.
"You could do that on my lips though," he grabs my face, placing a short, sweet kiss on it.
"Alright, let's get going," he pulls away, and opens his door, "Hold on, don't come out yet. I'll open the door for you," He steps out of the car.
Heat crawls up from my neck, turning my ears red hot. Lucien soon gets to my side, opening the door for me.
