The night has gone by. It's morning now, I'm standing again, in front of my house. Luckily for Lucien and I, Irene and Kael were able to find us, and help us out of there.
Though, we spent the remaining hours in Lucien's car, the first crack of dawn saw us romancing the road.
Now I'm in front of my apartment, feeling weak, and still sulking over Lucien's behavior last night.
I push open the door, forcing my wobbly legs into my room. The rays of the sun greet me as I walk in.
This place feels like home, comfort, peace.
A weak smile finds its way to my lips, "Thank goodness, today's a Saturday," I crash into my bed.
My heart is racing, for no reason. My head is blank, nothing trying to force its way in.
"I have been through a whole lot these past few weeks. I deserve a break from everything, don't I?"
I sit back up on my bed, looking at my window.
