With my directions, we finally reach the block of flats. Without wasting any more time, I fling the doors open, Kara doing the same.
"Follow me," I lead her into the building, and down to the elevator.
"Something just got me. Why can't she just scream for help?"
I shake my head, "I have suckers for neighbors, they wouldn't help. Besides, Irene is the squealing time. She literally squeals at anything, they would think it's one of those times," I reply, reaching the elevator.
"Oh well, got a plan?" She asks me as soon as we get into the elevator.
I blink confusedly, then turn to her, "I thought you had a plan!" I whisper-yell.
She palms her face, grimacing, "I literally told you panicking won't help you!"
"And I can't help it either!"
She paces to and fro in the elevator, "Okay. We can do something. We can think of something really quick."
