Originally located on Mount Olympus, in Greece, it constantly moved westward, following Western Civilization throughout the centuries. Instead of being located on a physical mountain, it is a metaphysical duplicate. This mountain does not connect to the ground and cannot be detected by mortals due to the Mist, but it is connected to the mortal world by a space elevator.
It is said to be hovering above the Empire State Building. But it exists in another dimension, due to its fluctuation with its large mass over a mortal city without being detected. At its top is a large city containing the palaces of the Olympian gods and residences for many minor gods and creatures of Greek mythology.
Generally, an invitation would be needed to enter Olympus, or the guards would not allow entry, but with the cloak Godwyn gained from Nyx, even Harry Potter would be envious.
Although the Cloak of Night was not Hades' Helm, it was also very powerful in terms of invisibility. Godwyn and Thalia passed the guards with their heads held high and firm, loud steps. However, none of the guards even turned their heads to look at them.
"Annabeth also entered Olympus, but she had an invitation," Thalia commented, entering the elevator. Looking at the gigantic number of buttons, her lips twitched abnormally.
"Her mother seems to like her daughter very much," Godwyn commented with a smile; he didn't hesitate to press button 601. The moment he did, the doors closed, drawing the attention of the guards.
"Someone must have called the elevator to return to the mortal world," said one of the guards and returned to focus on his work. The other guard nodded and didn't care much. After all, this was Olympus; who would be crazy enough to invade Olympus?
When the elevator passed the top floor, both Godwyn and Thalia felt they were passing through a slightly wet film. They felt as if they had entered the sea, but when they looked at their bodies, there wasn't a drop of water on them.
"Strange," Thalia commented, looking at her dry arm. However, she no longer felt like talking as the elevator doors opened, revealing a simply beautiful world, with perfect weather and extremely luxurious surroundings.
Minor gods and nymphs could be seen walking on the roads. For some reason, this reminded Godwyn and Thalia of a normal mortal city.
"They act superior, but they are no different from humans," Thalia said with a slightly sarcastic tone. Gods considered themselves the center of the universe, despising any humans as inferior and weak.
"In their eyes, humans weren't even considered humans, but toys for them to play with when they got bored," she said coldly, her eyes staring at the minor gods without hiding her antipathy.
"Don't think too much about it; they don't deserve you wasting your time or anger on them." Stroking Thalia's hair, Godwyn said with a calm look. Plans and more plans simmered in his mind like popcorn in a pan.
Thalia nodded, and both raised their heads, seeing a huge building on top of the mountain. An enormous Greek temple of polished and shining marble. The sun hit the structure, making it even brighter and more sacred.
It was Mount Olympus, the Abode of the Greek Gods, as well as the source of their power. Curiously, if the thirteen thrones on Olympus were destroyed, the gods would be weakened; perhaps this was the price to pay for being part of a Pantheon, the gods were intimately linked to Olympus.
"Your father lives well, better than mine," Godwyn said with an amused tone. Asgard was quite humble in terms of luxury; it looked like a mortal village, although the houses were also very beautiful, but compared to the luxury of the Greek gods' dwellings, it was like comparing a mansion worth tens of millions of dollars to a normal civilian house.
Thalia laughed, hearing Godwyn's words. Although she hadn't seen Odin's house, from his words, she could imagine it wasn't really a big deal.
"We'll build a bigger palace in the future," Thalia said with a smile; she looked at Godwyn with a playful gaze.
"Bigger than this?" Looking at the gigantic Greek temple, Godwyn's lips twitched; he looked speechlessly at Thalia. "I'm not building it."
Thalia rolled her eyes, but both began to walk and climbed the spiral steps that circled the mountain, leading up to the temple of the gods where the party would be held.
As they ascended, they saw demigods accompanied by some gods and demigods alone. The difference between having a father or mother who cared about you was quite evident. Even if these demigods received invitations, they were just at the bottom of the food chain at this party.
Honestly, Godwyn wasn't surprised that Luke managed to attract so many demigods to Kronos's side; the gods' contempt, arrogance, and selfishness could make these teenagers' minds filled with anger, resentment, and hatred.
Godwyn couldn't help but feel sorry for these demigods. Greece didn't want them, but he wanted them all! When he built his Pantheon, he would have many divine positions in their hands. He could wait for gods to be born naturally or accept these demigods and transform them into gods.
Of course, he wouldn't accept some demigods with malicious intentions; the Garden of Eden Bar served that purpose, to filter the good from the bad. After all, if these demigods were already evil as mere demigods, they would become even more evil as gods.
How could Godwyn accept such people in his Divine Court? He wanted to build a new world, not a world full of tyranny and corruption.
When Thalia and Godwyn finally stepped on the last stair, they had an idea of the size of the Olympus temple. To call it big was an understatement; it was a dwelling made for true giants.
Perhaps Zeus wanted to compensate for something, but his house was enormous. Truly enormous, it made the Empire State Building look like a slightly larger Lego toy. "You must be crazy to presume to build a palace bigger than this," Godwyn said to Thalia, who was also speechless. From afar, the palace didn't seem so big, but up close it was enormous, which left her speechless.
"I think a small one is better; I don't want to get lost in my own workplace," Thalia said with a dry laugh and no longer insisted on a bigger palace. She really didn't want a bigger palace now.
Suddenly, Godwyn's eyes saw three mountains around the main mountain; these were the palaces of each Olympian. Godwyn's gaze was naturally focused on Zeus's golden palace. It was there that the Primordial Flame that Surtur needed to become the personification of Ragnarok was located.
"Let's go." Godwyn ignored the main temple, where all the gods gathered to discuss daily matters, and walked towards the personal palace of the God-King of Greece.
"Do you think your father would be foolish enough to leave his main weapon unprotected and exposed for all to see?" Godwyn asked with an amused smile. His eyes did not hide his feelings.
"Although he is arrogant, he is not foolish," Thalia rolled her eyes and said in a calm tone. Although she despised Zeus, she didn't think he was a fool. Greece and the Norse were at war; it was essential for Zeus to be carrying his main weapon.
Godwyn wanted to laugh but said nothing and walked to Zeus's Temple. He wanted to see Thalia's reaction when she saw how her father was a foolish, arrogant, and presumptuous man, thinking that no one would steal the Master Bolt because he was the King of the Greek Gods and everyone owed him respect and reverence.
It might seem crazy to ordinary people, but Zeus truly believed that everyone should respect him just for being in power. As if sitting on a throne was really capable of earning people's loyalty.
If you compare the loyalty of the Titans to Kronos and the loyalty of the gods to Zeus, you would see something surprising.
Entering Zeus's house, the first thing Thalia saw was the throne room, and at the top of the steps, a golden throne could be seen, but what really caught her attention was the object casually left on the throne.
It was a 60-centimeter-long cylinder made of high-quality Celestial Bronze, capped at both ends with divine-level electrical explosives. It is incredibly powerful, "makes mortal hydrogen bombs look like firecrackers," according to Chiron.
"...."
"..."
Thalia really didn't know how to describe her father.
