1 Piece AU Luffy Charlotte

Stussy spent the rest of the tea party watching Luffy with a small soft smile on her face, a genuine one which was a far cry from the one they usually saw, and occasionally making small talk with the boy to try and learn more about him or atleast get a bit closer to him.
"Ne? How come there's no music? Don't you know there's supposed to be music at a party?" Luffy asked looking confused as he finally realized what was bugging him for a little while now.
"Eh?" Du Field asked blinking while Luffy now had the attention of Big Mom and each of the underworld leaders.
"Mhm. There's supposed to be music at parties! Shanks said so!" Luffy said with all the finality of a child saying that the sky was blue and the ocean large. The other Underworld leaders all exchanged looks at hearing that this boy knew Shanks, Morgans snapping another picture of Luffy with a whisper of Big News that got him a stern glare from Stussy.
She was going to have to explain things to him in private later and let him know that all of his stories involving Luffy had better be run through her first and if he dared put something that might put her son in danger or that she doesn't like…well her son wasn't the only carnivore in the family. And Morgans is a chicken.
"What kind of music hm? We can play anything you like Luffy." Big Mom asked smiling and glad that the boy did seem to be fitting in quite well, first he has a large appetite and is very strong for his age and now he likes music too? Well damn he was practically made for the Charlotte family.
"Binks sake!" Luffy said wide eyed and gleeful, it was his favorite song after all. Shanks and the rest of the Red Haired pirates had taught it to him and told him it was a pirate song. They sung it all the time!
"Oh that is an old one! Mamama." Big Mom laughed before she turned to the band that was always at her parties and beckoned them closer to give them the song choice. As soon as it started up most of the older party goers and almost all of Big Mom's children perked up. They all knew this song somehow or another.
"Yo-ho-ho! Yo-ho-ho-ho!" The band began to sing and Luffy immediately jumped right in with his high pitched voice, making Stussy chuckle slightly. Her son was such a happy ball of energy and sunshine. She could definitely understand why the Big Mom pirates called him Sunshine. He also seemed to have her singing voice with how off key he was but he might grow up to have her husbands deep soothing singing voice once he hit puberty.
The other party goers and most of the Charlottes tensed as they stared at Luffy who was happily singing along and then at Big Mom. Mama didn't often like it if someone joined in on the songs without her say so, especially if they were off key or out of tune like Luffy was.
"Gather up all of the crew! It's time to ship out Bink's brew!" Everyone relaxed though when Big Mom started singing as well, absolutely no signs of anger or displeasure on her face.
Slowly the Charlotte siblings began to sing along when Amande joined in after a moment of Big Mom singing happily and not being upset about Luffy's off key singing. Big Mom didn't seem angry about her kids joining in, in fact she seemed thrilled.
"What a happy little one." Stussy said with a soft smile, happy that her son looked so happy as he danced around and dragged a few others into dancing as well.
"You look like a proud mother Stussy." Gibberson said snickering as he drank down another bottle of whiskey, laughing as Luffy tried to dance with the much taller Charlotte's who were trying to be careful of the little rubber boy.
"I like children. So innocent and naïve." Stussy said immediately and without batting an eye as she watched Luffy swing around with Smoothie, his arms stretching to hold her hands as he bounced and jumped and wiggled.
"Mamamama! If this is how parties usually go with you Luffy then I can't wait to see what happens at next months tea party!" Big Mom said after the song was finished and already wondering how things would go if Shanks and his crew were in the middle of everything as well. They were kind of notorious for their parties and drinking after all.
"Shishishishi!" Luffy just laughed as the band moved to another song after a nod from Big Mom, Luffy happy to keep dancing and eating. Sometimes at the same time.
Before long the younger ones began to crash from all the fun and food. Most falling asleep in their chairs or on some older siblings, Pudding falling asleep on her mothers lap holding Luffy's treasured straw-hat.
Luffy managed to keep going for an hour before he ended up crashing sprawled across Brulee and Stussy's laps, one hand also clutching the sash on Amande's dress…while the other was holding the sword he somehow got from Smoothie for a little while close to his chest.
"Sleep well little one." Stussy said smiling gently, and fighting against tears as she gently ran her fingers through Luffy's hair, his head on her lap and his legs on Brulee's lap.
"I can see why they call him sunshine now. Even asleep his smile is bright." Drug Peclo said glancing at the snoring boy who had a happy smile on his face.
Morgans decided to snap a picture or two just for Stussy.
"Morgans…if anything you write puts him in danger…" Big Mom trailed off with her eyes glinting darkly as she lowered her large head to glare directly into Morgans eyes.
"Understood!" Morgans squawked in alarm and fear.
"Zzzz…meat….zzz…chicken….zzz" Luffy snored that out and it made Amande and Brulee snicker while Morgans looked fearful as he glanced at the boy.
Stussy merely smiled gently and scratched the boys scalp a bit.
"That's right. If he doesn't anything to put you in danger then he'll end up being lunch." Stussy said and her eyes glinted dangerously as she looked back up at Morgans who gave a small scared squawk.
"Understood." He meekly replied.
