Stussy had to use her years of training and all of her actress skills to keep a smile on her face as she watched Big Mom lower Luffy, her Luffy, to the ground gently and the boy went bouncing off with a well of energy.

She was so relieved that he was alright, even if it had taken her a few seconds to realize who the child in the dress was. Her eyes followed him closely as he bounced around and was introduced to plenty of people and seemed to talk to them for a few seconds or a minute before running off and being introduced to someone else.

"My he has quite the feminine figure. I almost didn't realize he was a boy at first." Stussy said and she knew she wasn't the only one watching the boy closely, all of the other Underworld Emperors were as well as several of the Charlottes.

"He fits into dresses well, although my children have learned quite by accident that he doesn't like to wear them all the time but is happy to do so if he matches with Pudding or one of the others whom he's gotten attached to." Big Mom said smiling slightly as she watched over the boy as well as he bounced around like a puppy.

Stussy was happy at how happy he looked. He seemed to have more of her figure than his fathers, even if he did have Dragons' coloring. It might still be his baby fat for now but his cheeks were fuller than Dragons and he had curly hair like her and his eye color might be his fathers but their shape was all hers.

She had been worried and furious when she had read those articles about what Garp, the father of her husband and her sons grandfather, had done to her son. She had politely excused herself from work for a few days and absolutely razed several pirate crews into the ground in her fury. Dragon and Garp had both promised her that Luffy would be safe! That he would be loved and happy and grow up big and strong but mostly be safe!

Then she had read the horrible truth in Morgans reports and she damn near stormed Baltigo on her own to get answers from her husband.

Sure they had met under false pretenses, back when she had been trying to investigate him when she had been younger and newer to the CP-O squad…but…they had eventually told each other the truth and had been privately married. She had never been so happy as the day they had been married, not until she learned she was pregnant and had her beautiful son.

She knew that she couldn't keep him, even before he was born she had known that. She couldn't keep him or have any contact with him for fear of anyone learning the truth, especially the marines. She was a CP agent and her husband was the worlds Most Wanted criminal. Their son would be found in a heartbeat and either forced into becoming a CP agent like her or killed because of his father. So she had tearfully let her son, the baby boy she had named herself, be taken to Garp by her husband. Her husband who had been just as angry with his father as she had been once they learned how their boy was raised.

After he was gone though…the World Government was putting more pressure on her to learn more about Dragon or the revolutionaries but…she couldn't wouldn't sell out her husband and his friends who had all been just as excited as she was when she had told them about being pregnant. So talking with her husband they had come up with a scene where her cover had been busted and she had to flee quickly, and thankfully the World Government brought it.

Sure she hadn't been able to talk to or sneak off to see her husband for three years because they had kept a close eye on her to make sure she hadn't turned on them…but after those three years and all the missions she had completed perfectly during that time? Well she was given a lot more freedom as long as she kept up with her missions, just in time for her to be sent undercover in the criminal underworld and become one of the emperors of it. A position that gave her plenty of time and opportunities to subtly speak with revolutionaries and her husband himself.

She had noticed that Red Hair had lost his arm and hat after a visit to East Blue but…glancing at the hat on her sons head as he bounced past her to another Charlotte siblings with a three eyed girl right behind him…she had a feeling she knew where the hat went at least.

"So how did you come to get such an…interesting child?" Stussy asked when there was a lull in the conversation at her table as she glanced up at Big Mom, acting as if she had been paying the upmost attention to everything. To be fair though a part of her had and she did have a vague knowledge of what they had been talking about for a moment before there was a break and her question wasn't out of place. After all Big Mom had been talking about how Luffy had been being trained by some of her elder children.

"He got caught by slavers in the East Blue a year ago but wasn't sold off yet or anything. About a week ago the same slavers had the misfortune of managing to grab one of my younger children, Pudding, when she was at the harbor watching the ships. Katakuri, Brulee, and Smoothie went with a platoon of chess soldiers to get her back and found him protecting her in the room the slavers had thrown her in. He took exception to some things they were saying about her and kept her safe from them for the few hours it took for someone to notice she was missing and find out what happened. The two have been near inseparable ever since." Big Mom said smiling as she watched the two in the matching dresses, which made Stussy inwardly coo because they looked adorable, run by as Pudding introduced her friend to another sibling who was in charge of a different island. And Big Mom's answer also explained why Shanks and his crew were hunting down slave traders recently, although she didn't blame them. If there was one type of criminal she hated with a passion, it was slave traders.

"And your children got attached when they met him." Morgans said nodding slightly as if that made sense.

"He is…refreshingly honest and completely unafraid of things that make my children different from others. Whether it's Brulee's scar, Amande's neck, Pudding's third eye, or even some of my childrens fangs…he thinks all if it is cool and wishes he had cool features like them. I've seen some of my children smile or laugh more in the last week than I have in years." Big Mom said nodding slightly at that and Stussy could imagine. Neither she nor her husband had ever been afraid of what makes people different nor had they ever seen anything wrong with those traits. Of course their son didn't give a single shit about such things.

Stussy might never be able to tell her son the truth, that she was his mother…and he would never learn of it from anyone but her, Garp, or Dragon and his men…but she was happy he seemed safe and happy. Even if he would never call her mama, she was happy that he found a large family to take care of and love him like she wished she could.

"He's the only person who's ever told me that I deserve to live…that he's glad I'm alive." Big Mom whispered unusually quietly at that and Stussy felt her heart ache a bit in sympathy for the woman, she knew what that was like. Dragon had told her much the same after she had admitted who she really was to him one day.

"An interesting little tyke." Du Field said laughing slightly and staring after Luffy as well, and if he was thinking about anything harmful or bad for her baby then cover be damned Stussy would kill him.

"You have no idea." Big Mom said dryly as Luffy bounded over to the third Charlotte daughter, Amande Stussy believed her name was, and grinned as he talked to her and her three snake-neck sisters while holding hands with Pudding.

"Being raised and trained by a Yonko and her crew?" Stussy trailed off for a second as she watched her son laugh happily and freely. She left his connection to Shanks quiet since she wasn't sure of the full connection and Big Mom hadn't said anything about it.

"He'll be very interesting to watch grow up." Stussy said and she knew that she wouldn't be able to see him all the time but…she was usually invited to Linlin's tea parties. Almost all of them. And since the woman had tea parties at least once every few months.

Well at least Stussy would be able to frequently see her son.

If the Charlotte's made him cry or hurt him however? Well…he had had more than his fair share of pain and hurt…

And cover be damned. She wouldn't let anyone hurt her adorable son ever again.
