I'd had no serious plans for the day, I'd merely intended to go through emails and numbers and all, but I'd received a message from the guards at the South gate saying a you g man had arrived claiming to be Gideon's son. My eyes had widened in surprise and also horror on receiving the news.
I'd wasted no time in calling Elias, he answered on the first ring like he had been waiting for my call.
"I was about to call you. Already heard," he said. "He's waiting outside the estate. Orders?"
"Bring him in. Take him to the west house. And keep him under watch. I'll be there in an hour." I told him.
"Yes ma'am." He replied just before the line went dead.
