Aboard the Oro Jackson.
Once again, Zephyr sent Rayleigh flying with a brutal punch, then turned and dispatched another foe. Suddenly, an enraged roar erupted from the side.
"Fish-Man Karate Secret Technique: Uraigat!"
From the sea, the fish-man Sambel burst forth, a swirling orb of water forming in his palm, his face twisted with fury as he glared at Zephyr.
He lunged in, palm arcing forward, aiming to drive the attack straight into Zephyr's chest.
But Zephyr didn't budge.
Just as the strike was about to land, his left hand shot out—a blur in the air.
Without anyone noticing, Zephyr's left hand had clamped around Sambel's right wrist, bringing his charge to a dead halt.
Then, with a sharp jab, Zephyr's right hand struck Sambel's elbow, while his left hand twisted with brutal force.
The ultimate move of Fish-Man Karate, unleashed by Sambel himself, was now turned against him—unstoppable, irreversible.
In Sambel's wide, terrified eyes, his own palm drew inexorably closer to his chest…
BOOM!!!
A thunderous impact. Sambel crashed to the deck, utterly motionless.
A massive, gaping hole in his chest oozed blood and shredded flesh—his life snuffed out in an instant.
At that moment, a flash of blade light split the sky.
A surge of danger screamed through Zephyr's nerves.
He spun on instinct, crossing his Armament Haki-coated arms before him.
CLANG!
A savage slash tore through the sky, slamming into Zephyr's crossed arms and blasting him straight through the railing.
Midair, Zephyr steadied himself, one arm bracing against the slash, the other surging with Armament Haki as he hammered down on the attack.
CRACK!
The sword aura shattered in an explosion of force, the shockwave buffeting Zephyr and forcing him back again and again.
He adjusted his stance, feet thundering with sonic booms as he charged back through the raging winds.
At that very moment, Roger—having just unleashed that devastating slash—landed back on deck.
Seeing nearly half his crew dead or wounded, the wildness in Roger's eyes only grew more frenzied, more desperate.
Now, with Sengoku closing in from behind and Zephyr ahead, the two formed a deadly pincer, both charging straight for the Oro Jackson.
Out on the sea.
Golden Lion Shiki soared hundreds of meters into the sky, twin swords flashing as he charged toward Whitebeard. With every swing, sword auras rained down like a storm, hammering at Kong and Garp as they rushed up from below.
But the barrage could only slow them—it wasn't enough to do real harm.
In a blink, the two top-tier martial monsters closed the distance, appearing right before Shiki.
The arrogance vanished from Golden Lion's face, his eyes sharpening.
"Lion's Might: Valley Slash!"
Both Kogarashi and Oto instantly surged with flowing Haki.
With a roar, the two famous blades slashed at the oncoming duo.
CLANG!
The three formed a tense triangle, locked for several heartbeats.
BOOM!!!
Golden Lion was blasted backward, the air behind him erupting into chaos. After tumbling several hundred meters, he managed to steady himself in midair.
He shot a glare at the two charging after him.
"Tch. What a pain."
Without hesitation, he rocketed upward, disappearing into the clouds above.
Only after breaking through the cloud layer did he veer toward the battlefield where Whitebeard and Sakazuki were locked in combat.
Below, Kong and Garp snorted at such a shameless escape, then immediately turned and charged toward Whitebeard.
At the site of Sakazuki and Whitebeard's battle.
Under Sakazuki's command, endless streams of magma erupted from the seabed.
The surging lava cascaded down, solidifying into vast swathes of black rock.
Now, the two most battered fighters stood atop this hellish terrain, locked in a desperate duel.
Sakazuki swung his magma-forged blade at Whitebeard.
Behind him, the rocky ground liquefied as several magma dragons burst forth, surging alongside his blade in a tide of molten fury.
CLANG!
Steel met steel, sparks flying.
For a split second, they held fast—until the magma dragons caught up, slamming into Whitebeard.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The two were swallowed by magma. Wrapped in burning rock, Whitebeard let out a muffled grunt, then his power exploded outward.
A massive hole was blasted open. Whitebeard staggered out, battered and gasping for breath.
He shot a bloody grin at Sakazuki in the distance.
"Gurararara! Outta steam already, magma brat?"
Sakazuki looked worn, but far less ragged than Whitebeard. He sneered,
"Your Armament Haki's not half as tough as that big mouth of yours."
With a deep breath, he gathered his remaining strength, plunging both hands into the ground as he roared,
"Volcanic Jade Blast!!!"
At his command, the ground churned and seethed, transforming into a restless sea of magma. Towering waves of molten rock, hundreds of meters high, rose up in layer after layer, crashing down toward Whitebeard like the end of the world.
Whitebeard looked up at the looming tide, a rare flicker of seriousness in his eyes.
He drove his naginata into the ground, clenched both fists at his abdomen—
And hurled them outward with all his might.
CRACK!
As the atmosphere shattered, the muscles in his arms burst open once more, blood spraying in crimson arcs.
Vibrations warped the very air, grinding apart the first wave of magma. But the next, and the next, crashed down unrelenting, each one threatening to bury him alive.
Then, a wild, domineering voice cut through the chaos:
"Lion's Might: Earth Scroll!"
Golden Lion arrived first, beating the others to the battlefield. The instant his feet touched down, he unleashed his power.
The blackened ground writhed and surged.
ROAR!!!
Six enormous, hundred-meter-tall black lion heads erupted, charging straight for Sakazuki and Whitebeard.
SWISH!
A sharp whistle split the air.
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
Garp appeared in a blur, his entire body coated in Armament Haki, smashing through four lion heads in a single breath.
Just as he was about to crash into the fifth, Shiki's power flared.
The fifth lion head exploded in a thunderous blast, the shockwave knocking Garp off balance for a heartbeat.
The last lion head didn't go for Sakazuki—instead, it slammed straight into Whitebeard, right at the heart of the magma onslaught.
BOOM!
