Whitebeard stared up at the blazing rain of magma hurtling toward him. He drew his right fist back, then unleashed it with a thunderous swing.
CRACK!
The very air fractured. At that instant, Whitebeard's arm gave a violent bang—muscle tearing, blood spraying. An invisible shockwave twisted space itself.
The torrent of molten fire reversed course, magma bullets surging skyward as if sucked backward, colliding with the next wave of incoming magma.
Atop a pillar of seething lava, Sakazuki watched, a sly smirk curling his lips.
"Not a fan of grand funerals, are you, Whitebeard?"
Whitebeard just grinned, eyes glinting with battle-crazed mirth.
"Go light some candles on your birthday cake, magma brat."
He stomped down, quake energy bursting beneath his feet. His naginata shimmered with Conqueror's Haki as he hurtled straight for Sakazuki.
Sakazuki summoned his power, forging a massive magma blade to meet him. Behind him, several magma dragons twisted and roared, bearing down with overwhelming force.
Both men, grinning with bloodthirsty intent, crashed together once more.
BOOM!!!
Aboard the Oro Jackson.
With a single stomp, Zephyr shattered Sambel's wrist and seized his harpoon. He raised his foot, ready to end the fish-man's life.
SWOOSH—!
A green, arrow-shaped slash shot for his ankle.
Zephyr vanished in a blur, reappearing instantly behind the wild-haired, blonde swordsman.
His jet-black left hand clamped down on the swordsman's swinging wrist.
CRACK!
Bone shattered. With his right hand, Zephyr caught the falling blade and slashed upward at an angle.
CLANG!
SPLURT!
The layer of Armament Haki barely lasted an instant before the swordsman—Taro—was cleaved in two at the waist.
"Taro!!"
"You bastard! Aaaahhh!!"
"NOOO!!"
The crew shrieked in fury and terror at the sight of Taro's brutal end.
At the railing, the battered fish-man Sambel rose, eyes bloodshot.
"Fish-Man Karate!"
"Five-Thousand Tile Roundhouse Kick!!"
With a speed that belied his bulk, he launched a spinning kick at Zephyr.
Zephyr's face was stone. Both hands gripped his sword.
HUM—!
Armament Haki coated the blade as he brought it down in a flash.
His sword met Sambel's foot. In an instant, a massive slash sent Sambel flying, crashing into the sea.
Zephyr spun, blade in hand, and charged toward the strongest aura on deck.
CLANG!
A battered figure appeared, blocking his strike.
"Can't let you go any further," came Rayleigh's low, killing-intent-laced voice.
Zephyr gave a cold snort, pressing down with brute force. "Then try and stop me."
Zephyr's overwhelming strength forced Rayleigh backward, step by step.
In this world, top fighters fell into two types: assassin-types with high attack but low defense—like Rayleigh and Shiki—and juggernauts with both high attack and defense—like Garp and Roger.
In his prime, Zephyr was clearly one of the latter.
BOOM!
With a thunderous crash, Rayleigh was sent flying.
Zephyr pressed his advantage, charging after him. A blade of sword aura shot his way—he cleaved it in two with a single swing.
Both hands gripping his sword, Armament Haki swirling, Zephyr brought it down.
CLANG!
Two sword auras exploded, unleashing a shockwave that forced everyone on deck to shield their faces, eyes squeezed shut against the blast.
Out on the open sea.
Sengoku's towering golden form hovered a hundred meters above the waves, like a god surveying mortals. Semi-transparent shockwave orbs circled his palms, crackling with power.
Suddenly, he spun and thrust both hands outward.
The shockwave orbs connected to his palms, leaving a long, gleaming trail as they streaked toward the sea.
BOOM!
A massive shockwave detonated underwater. The energy beam, still linked to Sengoku in the sky, poured out relentless force.
"Ugh!"
Caught off guard, Jabba was seized by the blast, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth.
Sengoku sensed his prey.
"HAAAA!!"
He bellowed, golden light surging from his massive hands as the shockwave's diameter tripled.
With Sengoku's full power unleashed, the underwater shockwave spread rapidly, forming a circular blast hundreds of meters wide. At its center, Jabba's pupils shrank in horror.
Death loomed, nerves screaming.
He coated his body in Armament Haki, bracing for the end.
The shockwave reached its limit—golden light flashed.
BOOM!!!
A cataclysmic blast tore a crater thousands of meters wide into the sea. The raging wind sent Sengoku's titanic golden body rocketing upward.
Tidal waves surged in every direction. From afar, both Rayleigh and Roger snapped their heads toward Sengoku, murderous intent flaring.
"Jabba!!!"
A storm of Conqueror's Haki swept the heavens and earth. Below Sengoku, a lone figure floated on the water—broken sunglasses, lifeless.
The Pirate King's left hand—Jabba—had fallen.
On the triple-front battlefield.
Roger snapped. All reason vanished.
Both hands gripped his sword, Conqueror's Haki crackling, veins bulging as he swung in a wide arc.
A ring of sword aura erupted from him, expanding outward without end.
It forced Kong and Garp back, clearing a path toward the Oro Jackson.
As they were blasted away, both men surged Armament Haki into their fists.
"Bone Crusher!"
"Cone Nail!"
They roared in unison, fists shattering the sword aura before them.
Sonic booms ripped through the air as their forms blurred, streaking after Roger.
But Sengoku, fresh from slaying Jabba, now blocked Roger's only path forward. Twin shockwave orbs spun in his massive golden palms.
With Garp and Kong closing in behind, it became a perfect three-way pincer.
Roger glared at Sengoku, killing intent boiling over. The Haki on his blade solidified, ready to strike—
Suddenly, a wild, domineering voice thundered from afar:
"Lion's Might: Sea Surge!"
Golden Lion Shiki came hurtling across the waves, both swords in hand. Half of each blade dragged through the water, and wherever he flew, small blocks of seawater floated up behind him—stretching for what seemed like miles.
With a deafening roar, all the seawater blocks collided and fused, forming three colossal lion heads of water.
Roaring, they charged at Sengoku.
Midair, Sengoku's eyes narrowed, grave for the first time. He spun, palms pressed together, merging the shockwave orbs and thrusting them forward.
The energy beam shot straight for the watery lion heads.
BOOM!
Golden light exploded as shockwave and sea lion heads annihilated each other. The unleashed force sent the water crashing back into the sea.
Golden Lion grinned, unconcerned—just a moment's interference was enough.
Roger, his eyes blood-red, seized the opening. He lunged at Sengoku, blade slashing down.
ZZZ—!
His massive strike sizzled against Sengoku's Haki-coated arm.
BOOM!!!
Sengoku was blasted backward, a deep wound gouged into his golden arm.
Golden Lion swung both swords, sending several sword auras at Kong and Garp.
"Jihahahahaha!"
"Not late to the party, am I, Roger?"
Roger's crimson gaze flicked to the Oro Jackson, where Rayleigh's aura had grown faint.
"Perfect timing, Shiki."
Without another word, he shot toward the battered ship, murderous intent burning.
Golden Lion flashed a wicked smile at Kong and Garp.
"Lion's Thousand-Cut Valley!"
Several slashes rained down. Unlike Roger's Conqueror's Haki-infused blows, these were probing attacks—pure sword aura.
Both Kong and Garp summoned Armament Haki, braced, and charged.
CRACK CRACK CRACK CRACK…
Like shattering glass, every slash was smashed aside. Haki surged over their fists as they closed in, flanking Golden Lion on both sides.
At the edge of the Scree Sea, Golden Lion's fleet raced toward the G-4 base.
As soon as they reached the boundary, Golden Lion left his ships behind, soaring for the distant battlefield.
Among his fleet, the Blizzard Pirates' captain—Snow-Snow Fruit user Mike Frank—was nearly trembling with anticipation.
Even from here, he could feel the lingering waves of Conqueror's Haki raging from afar. It sent delicious shivers through him, his voice wild with excitement:
"This is… this is… absolutely beautiful!!!"
"Hahahahahahahaha!!!"
His body dissolved into swirling wind and snow, expanding outward in a spiraling cloud. From a distance, he looked like a massive white storm.
Dozens of ships around him shuddered at the sudden cold.
He shot skyward, the giant snow cloud spinning and surging toward the battlefield—growing larger, wilder, with every passing second…
