Chapter 133 - Chapter 133: What a Beast!

"Hahaha! It's real! It's really a gold mine!" Obito's laughter echoed through the air, high-pitched with excitement and greed. His voice bounced off the valley walls as if celebrating the discovery along with him.

A feverish gleam filled his eyes as he stared at the dazzling golden deposit embedded in the rock. In his mind, the gold had already transformed into countless ryo—mountains of wealth that could fulfill every ambition and desire.

Shisui stood beside him, nearly drooling as he took in the glittering scene.

"Hehehe… Just imagine how much this is worth," he said, rubbing his hands together uncontrollably. "This amount of gold… it's priceless!"

His voice was trembling, and his expression mirrored that of a man who had just struck divine fortune. His fingers twitched, eager to grab every last ounce and stash it away.

Even Kakashi, normally calm and composed, couldn't suppress the gleam in his eye. He gazed at the exposed gold mine with awe. He wasn't one to get caught up in material greed, but even he could recognize the immense value lying before them.

"This will get us much closer to our goal," Kakashi muttered, a small but satisfied smile forming on his face. "Eighty billion… here we come."

But while the three were immersed in excitement, Rasa—the Fourth Kazekage—stood frozen.

His expression shifted instantly. What was once triumph and pride now crumbled into pure panic.

His eyes widened, pupils trembling. He took an instinctive step forward, raising both arms wide to block the path between the three intruders and the mine.

"You bastards!" he shouted, desperation lacing his voice. "I found this mine! It belongs to the Sand Shinobi Village! You can't take it!"

There was no room for negotiation in his tone. His voice cracked under pressure. His body trembled, not out of fear—but because he knew exactly what was at stake.

This gold mine wasn't just some treasure trove for personal gain. It was the future of his village.

For too long, the Wind Country had suffered under economic hardship. Its people starved while the other nations flourished. Rasa had dreamed of lifting them out of poverty—and this mine had been that dream come true.

He couldn't let it slip away.

But his words fell on deaf ears.

Obito, Shisui, and Kakashi were already moving, as if his protests were nothing more than a gust of desert wind. Their eyes stayed locked on the glowing gold within the pit, filled with insatiable greed. They moved forward with single-minded hunger.

Rasa's heart dropped.

They weren't going to stop.

They weren't going to negotiate.

They were going to steal everything.

Gritting his teeth, the Kazekage roared, "If that's how you want it... then don't blame me for what happens next!"

He thrust his hands toward the ground, his chakra surging with fury.

"Magnet Style: Gold Dust Surge!"

A low rumble echoed through the canyon. Suddenly, the ground beneath their feet erupted, and a massive wave of shimmering golden sand surged forward like a tsunami. The sand glittered under the sunlight, as if the earth itself had come alive with vengeance.

"Senior!" Shisui exclaimed. "It's gold! It's actual gold dust!"

"I SEE IT!" Obito yelled with elation, eyes gleaming brighter than ever. "This… this is incredible! I'll handle it!"

With no hesitation, Obito stepped to the front of the trio. His Mangekyō Sharingan spun rapidly as he activated Kamui, his most trusted ability.

In the blink of an eye, the massive wave of gold sand was pulled into a swirling vortex of space-time.

Shhhhhh—WHOOM!

The entire golden attack—hundreds of tons of it—vanished.

Just like that.

Rasa froze in disbelief. He blinked, mouth agape, and muttered, "W-What…? Where… where did my gold go?"

The Kazekage stood stunned, rooted to the spot like a statue.

"I… I lost contact with it…" he whispered, eyes wide with horror. "That—That's impossible!"

"How…? How could it disappear like that?!"

Obito wiped imaginary sweat from his brow and laughed. "Hahahaha! I've struck gold—literally!"

Shisui clapped his hands and grinned. "Senior, you're amazing!"

"Nice work, Obito," Kakashi added, casually adjusting his headband.

Meanwhile, Rasa clenched his fists in rage.

"You monsters!" he screamed. "Give it back! That was for my people!"

Fueled by desperation, he charged forward, chakra flaring violently as he aimed directly for Obito.

"You won't get away with this! GIVE ME BACK MY GOLD DUST!"

But without his Gold Dust jutsu, Rasa was at a tremendous disadvantage. His strength was tied to the very weapon that had just been stolen—and without it, he was like a lion without its claws.

Obito, Kakashi, and Shisui easily overwhelmed him.

With swift coordination, the three struck him down. Kakashi swept his leg out from beneath him. Shisui followed up with a kick to the chest. Obito slammed his fist into Rasa's jaw.

He crumpled to the ground.

They beat him mercilessly, their fists and feet a flurry of punishment. Rasa's resistance evaporated under the relentless assault. He gasped for air, blood pouring from his mouth, and collapsed like a broken puppet.

By the time it ended, he was unrecognizable—face swollen, lips bloodied, one eye barely open. His robes were torn, his limbs splayed helplessly.

All he could do was lie there and watch them walk—step by step—toward the gold mine that had once symbolized his people's salvation.

He reached out, fingers twitching in the dust.

"No... no..."

The three stopped in front of the mine. The sunlight reflected off the now-fully exposed veins of gold, making them shine like divine treasure.

"This is... unbelievable," Kakashi said in a hushed tone.

Obito's eyes gleamed as he cracked his knuckles. "Let's get to work."

He immediately began forming hand seals. Blue chakra burst around him, then began to solidify into a giant skeletal form. Moments later, Susanoo towered above the mine—its massive arm pulled back like a hammer.

BOOM!

The Susanoo's arm crashed into the cliff wall. Stone exploded outward. The sound echoed like a thunderclap.

Shisui, not to be outdone, summoned his own Susanoo and joined the excavation. Twin titans began smashing the rocky barrier to pieces, carving into the earth like gods of destruction.

Meanwhile, Kakashi methodically placed detonation tags along strategic fault lines. After a nod from Obito, he triggered them.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Explosions rocked the cliff, dust clouding the valley.

By the time it settled, the rocky outer layer had been completely demolished.

What remained was a mine of pure, dazzling gold. The sight was enough to make any man speechless.

Even Obito, Shisui, and Kakashi were stunned for a moment.

"…We're rich," Obito said, nearly choking on his own words.

Kakashi blinked. "This might be the largest gold deposit in the entire continent."

They weren't wrong.

Back on the ground, Rasa was sobbing.

With a final desperate burst of strength, he crawled to Obito and wrapped his arms around the man's leg, clutching it tightly.

"Please… don't take it. I'm begging you... This mine belongs to the Sand Shinobi Village. It's all we have! Please!"

Gone was the pride of a Kage. Gone was the dignity of a leader.

Rasa was just a man, desperate to save his people. His voice cracked with raw emotion. His cheeks were streaked with dirt and tears.

"If you take this, my village… my people… we'll all be doomed. Don't do this. Please…"

But Obito stared ahead, unmoved. His gaze wasn't on Rasa—it was on something far beyond.

"…Sensei. Rin. Master's wife... We'll see each other soon," Obito murmured, his voice quiet, almost reverent.

Then, louder: "Kamui!"

Another swirl of distortion appeared in the air. Space twisted violently as the gold mine began to vanish, piece by piece.

Tons of gold were absorbed into the Kamui dimension, disappearing from the world.

Rasa's eyes bulged in horror.

"No... NO—!!!"

But it was too late.

As the last shimmer of gold disappeared, his body went limp. Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth. His heart clenched with hopelessness.

He whispered one last word:

"…Beast…"

Then everything went black.

He collapsed completely—unconscious.
