Chapter 49 - The Unexpected Welcome

As the they drew nearer, the details became unmistakable. The figure possessed vibrant crimson hair that seemed to glow even in the dim light—the unmistakable trademark of the Uzumaki bloodline.

"With that striking red hair, his identity was quickly determined to be an Uzumaki clansman."

But the questions multiplied faster than answers. What was a child doing here, alone, waiting for them? The invasion force had expected many things when planning this attack. They had prepared for Konoha's full military might rushing to defend their allies. They had anticipated pathways laden with deadly traps, the complete force of the Uzumaki clan's warriors waiting in ambush, or perhaps some elaborate sealing technique that would bind their entire fleet before they could even land.

But there were no traps along the approach routes. No army of defenders. No complex barriers or seals. Just a ten-year-old child standing calmly on the shore, apparently waiting for them.

"Is this some kind of trap?" asked a Kiri-nin, his voice laced with confusion and uncertainty. His grip tightened on his sword hilt as he scanned the seemingly empty coastline behind the boy.

A confident Iwa-nin scoffed dismissively. "How can it be a trap? It's clearly obvious they want to surrender. This is clearly a peace gesture." His voice carried the assurance of someone who had seen many battles and believed he understood the politics of war.

However, not everyone shared this confidence. Gengetsu Hōzuki, the Second Mizukage himself, felt uncertain as he studied the scene before them. Something about this felt wrong. The Uzumaki were known for their pride and fierce fighting spirit. Would they really send a child to negotiate surrender or gather sympathy?

"Ridiculous," Raikage spat. "Do they think we will back off after seeing a child's?"

The Raikage looked around at his fellow ninja, expecting to see similar skepticism reflected in their faces. But to his surprise, some of the shinobi were beginning to show hesitant expressions. The sight of a lone child, so small and seemingly innocent, was having an unexpected psychological effect on warriors who had killed countless enemies without hesitation.

Suddenly, embarrassment washed over A. Here he was, one of the most feared ninja in the world, and his forces were showing uncertainty because of a child. Anger began to rise in his heart like a tide of fire.

A looked at the child again with renewed determination. The boy appeared so ordinary—just standing there with his hands at his sides, red hair moving gently in the sea breeze. A was about to signal the advance when something impossible happened.

The kid simply disappeared from his vision.

"What happened?" A's eyes darted frantically across the coastline, searching for any trace of the boy. But before he could make sense of what was happening, before his mind could process the impossibility of what he had just witnessed, the child suddenly appeared directly in front of him.

The Raikage found himself staring down at a cute and immature face that couldn't have belonged to anyone older than ten. The boy's expression was calm, almost bored, as if teleporting in front of a enemy was the most natural thing in the world. A felt even more confused—how had this child bypassed all their sensors, all their defensive perimeters?

But before he could react, before he could even begin to form hand seals or call out a warning, the child began moving backward.

A's instinct was to pursue, to catch up and capture this mysterious boy before he could escape again. But as he took a step forward, a horrifying realization struck him like a lightning bolt.

His feet were no longer touching the ground.

It wasn't the child moving backward—he was the one flying backward through the air. A sharp, excruciating pain exploded from his chest, as if something had punched completely through his ribcage. In the blink of an eye, he had been launched so far away that the ninjas below looked like tiny dots in the ocean.

Blood sprayed everywhere as the ninja who had just been obliterated by the child's attack painted the air crimson. The sound of the impact echoed across the water like thunder. BOOM! A collided with the hull of a distant warship with such force that the vessel's reinforced steel buckled and cracked. His eyes began to lose their strength as consciousness faded.

The Second Mizukage, who had managed to maintain his position on the water's surface through chakra control, looked at the Third Raikage flying backward with complete disbelief. The most physically powerful ninja in the world, a man whose body was said to be harder than steel, had just been sent flying like a ragdoll.

But there was no time for shock. Quickly, he returned his attention to the culprit—the red-haired child who was now looking directly at him. A cold sweat began to form on the Mizukage's forehead as he met those lazy, almost disinterested eyes.

The boy suddenly moved.

The Second Mizukage anxiously began to mobilize his chakra, preparing his most powerful water-style techniques. But before he could complete even a single hand seal, a sharp pain shot through his leg like molten steel. He immediately lost his balance and crashed down to his knees. Fortunately, his exceptional chakra control allowed him to remain on the water's surface even in this chaotic situation, though in hindsight, falling into the sea might have been the better option.

The next moment, another sharp pain pierced his stomach. Looking down in horror, he saw a black rod protruding from his lungs, dark chakra radiating from its surface like poisonous mist. Before the pain could subside, a devastating punch connected with his face.

Then another. And another.

Each blow felt like being struck by a sledgehammer wielded by a giant. The Mizukage began to lose control of his chakra, his vision blurring as his consciousness started to fade. But before the darkness could claim him completely, he heard the child mumbling something. Unfortunately, his eardrums had already ruptured from that first earth-shaking punch, so he could only make out fragments of what sounded like a loud, annoyed voice.

"You know, I was planning to play with you guys before capturing you, but I've been waiting here for two hours, and I hate waiting for someone the most."

Elric looked down at the Second Mizukage slowly sinking toward the sea. "Wait here," he said casually, as if instructing a pet to stay put.

Then he turned his attention to the Second kazekage.

The elderly Kage felt as if death itself was staring directly into his soul. A primal fear welled up in his heart, the kind of terror that bypassed rational thought and struck at the very core of human survival instinct. This child didn't care if he was a Kage or just an ordinary jonin—to this monster, it made no difference.

But the kazekage had experienced countless battles throughout his long career. Drawing upon decades of combat experience, he quickly forced himself to calm down and began analyzing the current situation. For now, his biggest goal was simply getting out alive.

It seemed this monster didn't want to kill them—at least not yet. There were many strange ninjutsu in the world, but one constant remained: if you wanted to kill a ninja, you went for their vital points. Yet all the attacks so far, while devastatingly powerful, had avoided striking any truly fatal areas.

His strategic thoughts were interrupted when the child began walking directly toward him. The kazekage set aside all distracting considerations and immediately dropped to his knees in submission.

"Sir, we can surrender—" he began, hoping to negotiate their survival.

He couldn't finish the sentence. A punch intercepted his speech with the force of a cannonball. His body was about to fly backward when he felt a powerful grip seize his leg. A brutal kick to his back broke his spine with an audible crack, and he was thrown aside like a trash bag, his body crumpling against the ship's railing.

The Army's Despair

Elric then turned his attention to the ninja army that had been completely stunned by the scene unfolding before them.

What had just happened?

Most of the ninja now wore expressions of complete bewilderment. What they had just witnessed defied all logic and understanding. The strongest ninja in the world—the shadows of their respective villages—had gotten their asses kicked by a little child who had simply appeared out of nowhere. Looking at the bloody water where their leaders' fates remained unknown, a single question dominated every mind: What should they do now?

Their dumbfounded expressions gradually transformed into pure, undiluted horror. Panic rose in their hearts like a tidal wave. What were their options? Fight this monster? They looked at the two Kage who had been demolished in seconds, with the third's condition unknown. Fighting this child wasn't strategy—it was suicide.

But before their morale could hit rock bottom completely, a random Chunin's voice cut through the despair like a battle cry.

"Mighty ninja of four great villages, what are we afraid of? Our numbers have reached more than seven thousand! This Uzumaki is clearly using some kind of forbidden technique, and the cost must be extremely high. We just have to hold on until his chakra runs out!"

The words struck like lightning, jolting many ninja back to their senses. Of course! How could anyone that strong exist naturally? Even the legendary God of Shinobi had limits. No technique, no matter how powerful, could be maintained indefinitely. They just needed to survive long enough for this child's power to fade.

Slowly, hope began to kindle in the hearts of the invasion force. Seven thousand ninja against one child, forbidden technique or not—surely the numbers were on their side.

But as they looked back at the red-haired boy standing calmly amidst the chaos he had created, his lazy eyes showing nothing but mild annoyance at being kept waiting, some couldn't help but wonder: just how long could they survive against a monster like this?

[I almost completed this part of Naruto world, like 30 chapter or so, but after rereading again, Renji almost became the mc, and Elric was a side character, that also made it very boring, so I am re writing this shit again, that why it talking time, so opening of the naruto version was not so good, anyway enjoy the chapter]
