Maya's POV
I knew something was off when Damon insisted he needed to go to the police station. The urgency in his voice, the way he practically begged me to stay at Damian's house, and his adamant refusal to let Chloe drive me home all pointed to one thing: he was hiding something. My suspicions were confirmed when Chloe spoke with Inspector Aurora, who assured us Damon had no reason to be at the station.
"We need to get to the bottom of this," Chloe said, her eyes narrowing. "I'm tired of all these secrets."
"Agreed," I replied, feeling my patience wearing thin. "I can't take any more mysteries or half-truths."
Hazel leaned forward, her expression thoughtful. "Instead of targeting them one by one, why don't we gather them all together? They won't have time to coordinate their stories if we put them on the spot."
"Brilliant, Hazel," Chloe's lips curved into a mischievous smile before she called out sweetly, "Gentlemen, would you mind joining your lovely ladies for a moment?"
