Adrian's POV
The day had started like any other until Chloe burst into my office, her phone held out, displaying a video call that would turn my world upside down. The voice coming through the speaker belonged to Maya, detailing how Owen, Damian, Liam, and Damon had ambushed Stella about the threatening letters she'd been receiving.
My blood instantly boiled. "I can't believe they did that!" I slammed my fist against the desk, fury coursing through my veins.
"Adrian, I'm taking the girls to find Stella," Chloe declared, determination in her eyes. "Thea is coming with me."
"I'm coming too," I said, already rising from my chair.
Chloe shook her head firmly. "Not a good idea. Stella's devastated right now. She needs her friends, not..." She hesitated, clearly not wanting to hurt me.
"Not the guy whose friends just interrogated her like a criminal?" I finished for her, running a hand through my hair in frustration. "Chl, please don't leave me hanging. I need to know she's okay."
