Stella's POV
Exhaustion weighed on me as I finally dragged myself toward bed. The beach party that Iris and Chloe organized had been wonderful, but my body craved sleep. I left Adrian behind, still engaged in lively conversation with the guys, clearly enjoying himself too much to leave.
After a warm shower and slipping into my comfortable pajamas, I collapsed onto the mattress. Sleep claimed me instantly while distant laughter from the beach party drifted through the open windows. I was so deeply asleep that I didn't even register when Adrian eventually joined me in bed.
Which made his brilliant idea to wake me up for sunrise viewing all the more jarring.
"Wake up, my goddess! Let's watch the sunrise together," Adrian exclaimed, his body draped over mine as he peppered my face with kisses.
I groaned, "What's with this sudden enthusiasm about a sunrise?"
"Please, today is incredibly special. Come on," he begged with the eagerness of a child on Christmas morning.
