"Dude, playing like this, we'll never defeat Manuel!" Owen groaned as he watched Liam get absolutely demolished by Atlas in the video game they were playing.
I was only half paying attention to the game, my mind elsewhere when Damian turned to me with a knowing look.
"So, Adrian, have you spoken to Stella about what we discussed at the Guild?" he asked casually, though I could tell everyone was suddenly interested in my answer.
"Not yet," I admitted, running a hand through my hair. "Stella wasn't feeling great today. I figured it would be better to wait until she's feeling more herself before bringing up anything serious."
Damian nodded approvingly. "Smart move." Then he shifted his interrogation to another target. "And you, Carlos? Any progress with your situation?"
