Stella's POV
My heart shattered like glass hitting concrete. This wasn't just one betrayal cutting through me, but layers upon layers of broken trust. The worst part? He didn't believe in me. He chose to embrace lies instead of having a simple conversation with me. He couldn't even find the backbone to end things properly, just moved on to someone else and tossed me away like yesterday's trash. This was completely wrong.
After shutting the door behind me, I collapsed against it, sliding down until I hit the floor. Raw sobs tore from my throat as I buried my face in my hands. Time became meaningless as I sat there drowning in my own tears. It felt like someone had ripped open a dam inside me, and the rushing water of grief wouldn't stop flowing, pulling me under wave after wave of crushing pain.
