Bai Tao gave a few more instructions and then hung up the phone.
"Xiao Tian, is there an urgent matter at your police station?" Lin Bingxuan asked.
Xiao Tian looked up at Lin Bingxuan and nodded. He had deployed personnel around Ce Shi to find the mastermind behind the scenes, and more importantly, to eliminate the threat to Lan Qi and the others permanently.
Xiao Tian wouldn't allow anyone to threaten the safety of his family and friends. He would never permit that.
"Bingxuan, I have to go."
"Hmm, it's okay, you go ahead with your work, don't worry about me." The two had just experienced intimacy; although Lin Bingxuan felt a slight reluctance, she was no longer a young girl.
