Seungmin was sitting in the car, scrolling through his phone. When he saw Han's pictures, a smile appeared on his face. He looked happy, almost peaceful.
Hanbin noticed and asked, "Are you dating someone?"
The smile on Seungmin's face disappeared immediately. He replied coldly, "You don't need to know."
Hanbin sighed in response. "Yaa, I just asked. If you don't want to tell me, then fine."
But Seungmin's tone got even colder. "We are here for work. Let's just finish what we came for and never see each other again."
Hanbin wanted to answer but turned his head away, angry but silent. He didn't want to fight, because this was his last chance to clear chaewon's name.

Back at the court, Chaewon was distracted the whole game. Christine voice was like a annoying bell, who was cheering loudly for Han. Every time she shouted his name, Chaewon's chest tightened. She even cheered for Jun, but it didn't bother him. It was only when she cheered for Han that he felt his stomach twist.
Soon the match ended, Jun gathered everyone and started reading the scores one by one. Chaewon's name came last.
Jun looked at him with disappointment.
But chaewon forced a small smile. At least I'm still in the team, he thought.
Everyone started to leave slowly with just , only Christine and chaewon stayed behind.
She asked, "What subject are you studying?"
Chaewon stared at her with clear disgust and then rolled his eyes back.. "Did anyone ever tell you your Korean is bad?"
Christine just laughed, still calm. "No, you're the first one."
Chaewon sighed, annoyed. Why is she so irritating?
Suddenly Han walked out of the locker room. So Christine jumped up right away, crossed her arm through his, and smiled proudly. She showed him her phone.
"Look! I sent your pictures to Seungmin. He replied with a heart."
Chaewon's eyes darkened. Jealousy hit him hard, but he quickly looked away.
Han glanced at the screen. "He's replying to you."
Christine frowned. "Why isn't he replying to you?"
Han forced a smile, his voice soft. "It's fine. He will when he's free. It's not the first time."
But inside, his chest hurt badly. Seungmin always disappeared and came back whenever he wanted, but this time was different. Seeing him reply to Christine and not even open his own messages—it cut deep.
---
Christine got a call so she went a far to hear the call so Han and chaewon sat waiting quietly while Christine took a call. After a while she returned.
"She'll be here in fifteen minutes," Christine said.
Han only nodded. Christine then sat right in between them. Still being excited
Chaewon's eyes widened. He wanted to scream but kept quiet. And he just pouted Why is she sitting here? Why between us? He started to blamed himself. It's my fault. I shouldn't have left this space. If you leave a gap, people will always take it evaluately.
He bit his lip and looked away. Why are we even waiting for her? I wish we could just leave her behind.
