Chapter 237 - Ch.237 : What Actually Happened

The predator factions had gathered and were ready to fight Galea.

But they had some drawbacks now—half of them were exhausted and injured, and Snow Sniper still hadn't returned.

White Wolf looked at White Bear's leg, which was badly injured from the bear trap. "Your leg is in bad shape. Can you still fight?"

White Bear calmly said he was still fine. "I still have some capsules left to push my body further."

White Wolf felt a bit worried, because taking more than one capsule was very dangerous and could make someone lose themselves.

Snowy Owl checked Snow Leopard's body, who was also weak, his bones nearly broken.

"If you force it, you'll end up crippled," said Snowy Owl.

Snow Leopard looked annoyed and sighed. "I can still be a distraction."

Cold Orca, still angry, said whether they liked it or not, they had to move now—most likely no one else would interfere.

"As long as the spearheads like me and White Wolf can hit her, that's enough!" said Cold Orca.

Snowy Owl asked about Snow Sniper. "Aren't we going to wait for him to come back?"

White Wolf, who was treating his trusted wolf, told Snowy Owl to forget about Snow Sniper. "For some reason, I feel like he's a traitor."

Then Snow Falcon pointed his dagger at Snowy Owl. "Then you take his place. No need to hide—just make sure you can disrupt her."

At first Snowy Owl hesitated, but eventually agreed. They all immediately headed to the highest mountain where Galea was, with no intention of returning before winning.

---

Meanwhile, Galea was waiting calmly while playing with her golden fan.

"Hmm… this will be interesting…" she said.

Not long after, the predator factions finally arrived, not even bothering to hide. They were completely ready.

White Wolf stepped forward in front of Galea with a sharp gaze, followed by the others.

Galea smiled. "This isn't the first time… but it looks like you're with different people~"

White Wolf looked extremely annoyed, clearly full of hatred toward Galea.

Without wasting time, Cold Orca—still heated—leaped forward and swung her twin weapons at Galea.

Galea blocked it with her fan and grabbed Cold Orca's leg with one hand, slamming her down.

Snowy Owl immediately fired her crossbow, but Galea moved like she was dancing, effortlessly dodging the arrows.

White Bear rushed forward to punch her stomach, already expecting Galea to dodge, so Cold Orca also attacked the spot Galea might move to.

But after White Bear charged, Galea didn't dodge—she stood still and took the hit. Cold Orca ended up looking foolish, and instead of attacking White Bear, Galea instantly dashed toward Cold Orca and struck her with the fan so fast she couldn't block it.

Snowy Owl bit her lip. "Her movements are unpredictable."

White Wolf told Cold Orca and Snow Falcon not to attack yet—Galea seemed to be targeting them, and she didn't care about those who were already injured.

"I'll go in. Snow Leopard, come with me. We'll use that combo," said White Wolf, getting ready.

Snow Leopard agreed. Even though his body was weak, he prepared to match White Wolf's movements.

Snowy Owl kept harassing Galea with her crossbow. Galea still hadn't moved to counterattack.

But when she saw White Wolf coming, Galea's eyes sharpened—now she looked ready to strike back.

Snow Leopard was surprised, but stayed focused and prepared to attack together with White Wolf. Galea seemed completely focused on White Wolf, and spikes started appearing on her fan.

White Wolf attacked, aiming for her shoulder. Galea already knew what he was going for and blocked that spot with her spiked fan.

But White Wolf didn't care and kept going. They exchanged dodges and blows, and then Snow Leopard came from behind and clawed Galea's neck.

Galea turned—and her leg had already been shot by Snowy Owl.

Before it ended, Cold Orca arrived. White Wolf hadn't managed to hit her shoulder, but Cold Orca did—driving her weapon straight into Galea's shoulder, making her feel real pain.

They all immediately rushed in, attacking her nonstop without giving her any opening.

But Galea wasn't that easy to defeat—she had intentionally let herself get surrounded.

Then she used her technique—Eagle Torpedo. She spun with her golden fan, slashing all the predator factions. The worst hit was Cold Orca—her stomach was slightly torn open. She held it while enduring the pain.

But Snow Falcon didn't rush in. He stepped forward and faced Galea one-on-one—and incredibly, he overwhelmed her. He was faster. Snow Falcon managed to slash Galea's body, stab her with his dagger, and kick her all the way to the edge of the mountain.

Everyone was shocked by Snow Falcon's strength.

Turns out—he had taken a capsule.

Cold Orca laughed and realized she hadn't taken hers yet. "Come on, White Wolf, just take it—you haven't yet, right?"

White Wolf looked at her, and finally—fed up and seeing this as their only chance to kill Lady Golden Eagle—he swallowed the capsule.

Cold Orca and White Wolf immediately dashed toward Galea, who had already stood back up.

Galea smiled and moved toward them without fear. From behind, Snow Falcon attacked again.

And no matter how strong a top predator is, facing multiple bloodthirsty predators at once is overwhelming. Galea was attacked nonstop, her body practically turning into a target full of weapons.

Cold Orca was about to cut off Galea's head, but White Wolf stopped her. Instead, White Wolf kicked Galea off the mountain—and from that height, the chance of survival was almost zero.

After Galea fell, they all laughed in satisfaction.

"FINALLY!! WE BEAT HER! NOW WE'RE THE ONES AT THE TOP!!" shouted Cold Orca.

Snow Falcon chuckled. "Haha… now we can relax. All obstacles are gone."

White Wolf smiled. "Now we just need to carry out our real mission…"

They all smiled and laughed—except Snowy Owl.

She felt like nothing had really changed… and she also knew there was still that raven she cared about.

Snowy Owl stepped closer to White Wolf. "Wait…"

White Wolf turned to her. "You're tired, right? We are too. Let's go back, rest, and continue the mission later."

Then a few seconds later—

"Rest? That was fast. We just got here, you know…"

A voice came from below. White Wolf and the others froze—they knew that voice.

Fang… appeared, stepping up with a calm expression.

"Hello… we meet again…"

Then from another side, Aivar, Fannar, Felicia, Fino, Veyra, and Bunny appeared—completely fine, without any injuries.

All the predator factions were stunned. Just moments ago, they believed they had wiped out the entire Defense faction—but now, they were all standing there like nothing had happened.

White Wolf couldn't believe it. "WHAT THE HELL ACTUALLY HAPPENED!?"
