Chapter 236 - Ch.236 : The End of the Defense?

Some time before that…

In the center of Rusfin city, in the high-caste area, White Wolf and his large pack of wolves were facing Fang and Bunny.

White Wolf stared at Fang sharply and coldly. "You sure you don't want to run somewhere else?" he said flatly.

Fang laughed. "No need. Let them see the truth later."

Bunny looked around. The way people looked at her was clearly full of disdain—they didn't like her at all.

Inside, Bunny muttered that they were too quick to judge and never tried to find out the truth.

White Wolf immediately got ready and whistled, signaling his wolves to attack Fang and Bunny.

Fang got ready and, without hesitation, punched the incoming wolves hard, sending them flying. Meanwhile, Bunny jumped to dodge and kicked the wolves in the stomach.

They handled all the wolves easily—but they realized the ones attacking were just normal wolves, not the two core wolves standing beside White Wolf.

White Wolf then ordered his two trusted wolves—one to attack Fang with him, and the other to deal with Bunny.

The wolf approached Bunny, making the Arctic hare girl confused.

"Huh? He's sending just one wolf to fight me?" Bunny glanced at Fang, thinking she would win easily.

But Fang told her that White Wolf's trusted wolves were not ordinary wolves—far more terrifying than typical predator wolves.

Bunny bit her lip and prepared to fight. But the wolf just stood still, staring at her coldly—then suddenly its eyes turned feral and it lunged toward her at high speed.

Bunny dodged, but the wolf landed and instantly changed direction without even looking, its legs moving instinctively—and it clawed Bunny's back.

"Ugh, damn it… didn't expect that," Bunny said, trying to counterattack.

But the wolf was incredibly agile, and Bunny wasn't specialized in fighting fast opponents—so she ended up being overwhelmed like a punching bag.

Fang wanted to help, but his opponent was far more dangerous and didn't give him even a second to breathe.

White Wolf kept attacking him relentlessly, and his wolves struck from all directions, making Fang more and more exhausted.

But Fang was strong enough to endure the attacks. He noticed that the wolves' attack patterns were the same—and then…

"GOT YOU, YOU BASTARD!" Fang's powerful punch landed directly on the wolf's head, knocking it out completely.

Only White Wolf remained, Fang thought.

But he forgot—Bunny had already been taken down, and now the other troublesome wolf joined in attacking him. This time, its attacks were different—no pattern, completely random, following White Wolf's whistles.

Fang laughed, but looked annoyed. "You really can't fight one-on-one anymore, huh?"

White Wolf didn't answer and moved forward with his weapon to attack again. But now Fang looked stronger than before.

His defense was incredibly tough—even while being clawed repeatedly, he didn't flinch at all. His chest, which had only a few wounds before, was now covered in countless claw marks.

Fang took off his jacket, revealing his chest full of scratches. "LOOK AT THIS! Honestly… I actually enjoy the claw marks you gave me!"

Everyone watching looked disgusted and disturbed. Fang was insulted, mocked, and told he'd die soon and be buried.

But Fang didn't care. He stepped closer to White Wolf. White Wolf stepped back and punched Fang hard in the face, knocking him down.

White Wolf looked annoyed. "Don't do anything stupid. If you want to die, I'll bury you here right now."

Fang stood up again. "You really don't want to be like me?"

White Wolf spat. "Become an idiot like you? Don't piss me off even more."

"No, not that. I know I'm big but dumb… I just want to say—you don't have to pretend to take sides if all you want is to destroy," Fang said loud enough for everyone to hear.

Everyone was confused about what he meant.

White Wolf fell silent. He had never told anyone his true goal—not even Fang, who used to fight alongside him.

"What kind of nonsense are you talking about, you damn tiger!" White Wolf stepped forward, eyes sharp.

But Fang smiled—he had successfully provoked him—and landed a powerful punch that sent White Wolf flying.

When White Wolf fell, the wolves got furious and started surrounding Fang. But Fang went berserk, slaughtering all the wolves—even White Wolf's trusted ones.

His body was covered in wounds as he roared loudly.

"YOU HIGH CASTE WILL BE DESTROYED BY YOUR OWN PREDATORS!!" Fang shouted.

White Wolf stood up, even more irritated. The people were confused by Fang's words, but they tried to ignore them, thinking he was just trying to fool them.

---

Back to the present— all predator factions had returned.

White Wolf saw that his members looked exhausted, some even injured. Only Cold Orca was still full of energy and unharmed.

The tourists and high-caste citizens felt relieved seeing the predator factions return—it meant they had completely crushed the chaos caused by the Defense faction, or what the tourists called a cult.

Then they all surrounded Fang and Bunny, who was starting to regain consciousness.

Bunny panicked seeing all the predator factions—they weren't allies. But when she looked at Fang, who was smiling, she felt something strange.

"Relax, Bunny… everything will be fine…" Fang said softly while looking at her.

Cold Orca stared at them sharply. "Let me cut their heads off."

White Wolf stopped her and told her to help Snow Falcon treat the others' wounds to prepare for fighting Galea.

Then White Wolf approached Fang. "You said we'd regret underestimating the Defense faction? Acting tough, aren't you?"

White Wolf immediately knocked Fang unconscious by stabbing him in vital points. Fang collapsed helplessly, while Bunny panicked—but White Wolf just punched her hard until she fainted again.

After that, someone appeared—a tall, well-dressed man. He clapped his hands, and the tourists and citizens were told to leave.

Other tall men in suits also started arriving.

"Take these two pieces of trash to the disposal area," one of the suited leaders said.

Fang and Bunny were taken away.

White Wolf stayed silent as the others approached him.

The suited leader's name was Bjorn. He looked at White Wolf and asked in a calm tone,

"What that tiger said… that was a lie, right?" His eyes narrowed.

White Wolf didn't panic. He just replied flatly, "Idiot."

White Wolf walked away, followed by his members.

Snow Falcon turned back and said, "We're going to conquer the one at the top."

Bjorn understood—it meant Galea—and he laughed. "Good luck, you cute Northern troops."

From afar, Shen Akira had been watching everything from the beginning of the fight until now. Mei Tsukino stood behind him.

"Damn… is this place safe now? Those cult guys are completely wiped out," Shen Akira said.

Mei Tsukino just nodded and said maybe Death Raven had already been taken care of by Snow Sniper.

Shen Akira felt even happier hearing that. He planned to change his identity later and return to his home country without fear of being hunted.

Mei Tsukino just smiled slyly at Shen Akira's behavior.

Switching to the peak of the highest mountain…

Hermyra and Seraphine were shocked to see Lady Golden Eagle—Galea—really there, looking completely relaxed.

Then Nic approached her and said, "Get ready."

Galea turned with her signature smile, wrapping her arm around Nic and looking at him teasingly. "As you command, my raven~"

And then—BOOM!! Galea was blown away as Nic transformed—not into Death Raven, but into King Raven, his aura far stronger. Hermyra and Seraphine could only stand there in shock.

With a heavy voice, Nic ordered Seraphine and Hermyra to hide in the place he had told them earlier—he would leave for a moment.

King Raven disappeared quickly, leaving them behind. Hermyra and Seraphine glanced at Galea, who was still smiling, then immediately ran off to hide as instructed by Nic.
