Tyrion stood before the throne.
He spoke not as Hand, but as a broken man. "You burned the guilty, yes. But you burned the helpless too. I will not serve fire when it devours children."
Andrew stepped forward. "You would rather kneel to vipers and liars?"
"I'd rather kneel to mercy," Tyrion said.
Daenerys hesitated. Her eyes flicked between them. "He must be judged."
Andrew drew his blade. "Then let judgment be true."
But she raised her hand. "No. He will live. In chains."
Tyrion bowed, not in thanks, but in defiance.
