*Hazel's POV*
"I need to teach you how to harness your power." Sera's words hung in the air between us.
I stared at her, still reeling from everything she'd just told me. Gods. Anchors. Cosmic battles. It was overwhelming enough to know what I supposedly was—but to actually use these powers? That seemed impossible.
"I don't even know where to start," I admitted, my voice small. "How am I supposed to harness something I can barely understand?"
Sera leaned forward, her colorful hair falling across her shoulders. "You've already accessed it once. With Kael."
The memory flashed through my mind—golden threads of energy, pulsing and alive, connecting everything around me when I touched Kael's skin. The sensation had been incredible, but completely instinctive.
"That was different," I argued. "I was touching Kael. And I was terrified. It just... happened."
"Nothing 'just happens' with this kind of power," Sera countered. "You reached for it, whether you realized it or not."
