*Hazel's POV*
"Chaos?" I stared at Sera, my mind racing. "You mean, like... the concept?"
Sera's lips pressed into a thin line. "Not the concept. The entity."
My stomach dropped. The word "entity" carried so much more weight than I was prepared to handle before coffee. I glanced at my untouched mug, suddenly desperate for caffeine.
"I need that coffee now," I muttered, grabbing the mug with shaking hands.
"Go ahead," Sera nodded, watching me carefully. "You look like you need it."
I took a long sip, letting the warmth flow through me. The buzzing under my skin seemed to calm slightly, as if the mundane act of drinking coffee was grounding me.
"So," I said after a moment, "when you say 'entity'..."
"I mean a being of immense power," Sera explained. "One of the primal forces of existence."
I closed my eyes, trying to process this. "And I... what, had a chat with it?"
"More or less." Sera's eyebrows raised. "What exactly happened during this... encounter?"
