Chapter 35 - A+ Grade Evaluation Reward

Thinking about capturing a Tailed Beast?

Su Yang wasn't surprised.

Sure, it looked like he had a lot of chakra…

But in reality? It was only Level 22 chakra, about twice that of a typical Kage. Honestly, that was barely enough.

Whether it was the Mangekyō Sharingan's ocular powers or the chakra, hungry Flying Thunder God Technique, both demanded massive chakra reserves. Even though the simulated version of himself had improved, it still wasn't anywhere near enough.

"Man… Hashirama Senju really was a damn monster."

Su Yang couldn't help but complain a little.

He vividly remembered in the original story, during the Fourth Great Ninja War, Naruto, in Nine,Tails Mode, distributed his chakra to the entire Allied Shinobi Forces, giving each of them a protective cloak.

Then Hashirama casually dropped a line:

"This chakra amount… it's not too far off from mine."

Basically: "Yeah, I've got the same chakra output as the Nine,Tails."

Absolutely absurd.

Su Yang was very aware, with his own physique, he could never reach that level.

So, becoming a Jinchūriki was probably inevitable.

Still, that wasn't this simulation's goal.

[Because of your interest in Tailed Beasts, you begin studying fūinjutsu (sealing techniques).]

[Most of the techniques you obtain come from Konoha's collection of Uzumaki Clan seals, including the one used to seal the Nine,Tails itself.]

[As long as you master it, you could become the Jinchūriki of the Nine,Tails, or any other Tailed Beast.]

[Before long, your focus shifts from Flying Thunder God to sealing arts.]

[After one year of intense study, your 13,year,old self discovers that fūinjutsu is far more complex than you imagined.]

[Flying Thunder God could at least be aided by Kamui, but fūinjutsu offers no shortcuts. It's all hard work.]

[The next two to three years pass in a blur. You do little besides chakra cultivation and ninjutsu training.]

[Though you're eager to capture a Tailed Beast as your personal chakra battery, you don't make a move until your sealing techniques are ready.]

[Your ninjutsu arsenal grows rapidly. Thanks to your obsession with optimization, many jutsu are simplified with reduced hand seals.]

[You're so immersed in training that you barely register what's happening in the outside world, until one day...]

[You're caught in the Infinite Tsukuyomi.]

[The moment the moon changes, you instinctively try to switch with a clone to escape the genjutsu.]

[You fail, because even your clones are caught.]

[You try retreating into Kamui's dimension, but find that it doesn't help. The illusion still holds.]

[Realizing there's no escape, you explode with power, trying to resist it outright.]

[Your unusual response, and the power of your Mangekyō Sharingan, catches Kaguya Ōtsutsuki's attention.]

[Though you're strong, even among Kage, level shinobi, you're nowhere near ready for someone like her.]

[She doesn't even need to use her full strength. You're overwhelmed.]

[You're captured, bound to the God Tree, and your consciousness sinks into the illusion.]

[Your chakra is drained dry… followed by your life force.]

[You die, completely exhausted, at age 16.]

"Still got taken out by the Infinite Tsukuyomi, huh…"

Su Yang fell into thought.

"I wonder… if I hadn't fought back, hadn't exposed my power, could I have survived and continued simulating?"

In his view, time was always the problem.

If he could just buy himself enough time, he could fully master Flying Thunder God, perfect his jutsu, and finally act without restraint.

After all, simulations were just tools to build power. The longer he lived, the more time he had to grow.

Once his strength reached a certain point, every simulation afterward would become a playground.

"Next time, the simulation might be very different."

Just thinking about what his simulated self had achieved this round, Su Yang felt a surge of anticipation.

No doubt, it would significantly raise his starting point next run.

[Simulation complete!]

[Simulation Evaluation: A+ Rank!]

[You may select one reward from the following options:]

[Bonus: First, time achieving A+ rank, receive one additional reward worth up to 30,000 simulation points for free.]

Option 1:

Talent – "Double Blessing" (Purple,grade)

Cost: 30,000 simulation points

Option 2:

Chakra Level 25 Upgrade

Cost: 50,000 simulation points

Option 3:

All ninjutsu from this simulation (with full experience)

Cost: 350,000 simulation points

Option 4:

Mangekyō Sharingan

Cost: 100,000 simulation points

"A+ rank, huh? Not bad, not unexpected either."

Su Yang wasn't surprised by the evaluation.

Compared to his previous simulation, this run didn't change too much.

He'd collected a ton of ninjutsu, yes, and even triggered Konoha's civil war. That probably pushed the evaluation from a plain "A" to "A+".

"Just gathering ninjutsu doesn't increase my rank much, it only boosts personal strength, not narrative weight."

"But triggering a civil war? That definitely gets you bonus points."

He looked at the reward options thoughtfully.

"The extra 30,000,point reward… I can use that to bring out 'Double Blessing' for free. Perfect."

This purple, tier talent was originally rolled using only 10,000 points, but pulling it into the real world required triple that amount.

This bonus saved him the cost.

As for Option 2, the chakra boost? He didn't even glance at it.

That wasn't the goal of this simulation.

Option 3 was the true prize here, all the ninjutsu and experience gained from this run.

But then,

"350,000 points!? Are you kidding me!?"

Su Yang gasped aloud.

That number was ridiculous.

But the more he thought about it, the more reasonable it seemed.

Flying Thunder God alone, fully mastered, was a top, tier technique.

Add to that the Rasengan variants, even without Sage Mode...

Then include a whole suite of sealing arts and countless other jutsu, even if none were pushed to their peak, the sheer volume made it worth it.

"Actually… Maybe 350,000 is a bargain after all."

He smiled to himself.

As for the gap between what he had and what he needed? He wasn't worried.

He already had a solution.
