Craig was led into a space, he followed the Servant without uttering a single sound.
They spent thirty minutes walking through the hallway etched with darkness and shadows.
His eyes widened, mesmerized by what he saw.
"Wow" He exclaimed.
He walked into a grand hall. It's shimmering lights engulfed him.
"This…this is a gallery" He stammered.
The gallery was a marvel of wonder, it's walls crafted by the rarest and finest crystals.
The halls filled with breathtaking structures, sceneries and treasures that defied imaginations.
Towering spires and grand domes rose from the floor, adorned with intricate carvings and glittering gemstones that reflected lights in dazzling patterns.
Glowing orbs and lanterns suspended in the mid-air, casting a soft ethereal light over the gallery and the illuminating treasures within.
"This is beautiful"
Craig mused.
He's seen walking through the gallery, his eyes fell on difficult artifacts and treasures. All owned by Fate itself.
Thousands of columns were lined up, each storing a designated artifact in the transparent sphere placed on it.
He observed in awe.
The Servant followed from behind as Craig watched.
"Speechless?" The Servant asked.
Rare artifacts and relics from far-off lands and mystical realms were displayed on pedestals and in glass cases, their beauty and craftsmanship awe-inspiring.
Craig cleared his throat.
"Ofcourse I'm speechless. Well even though I'm poor back when I was still living in my old world"
"But i don't think I would ever come across such treasures. I can see a lot of unique weapons and artifacts"
"Each on their own level, can I take two?" Craig asked.
"No. The Fate's Archive has a simple rule, you can only take one treasure and leave, if you take two"
"Your soul will perish in here"
The Servant explained.
Craig sighed.
"That's quite saddening, if I was given the opportunity. I would have been very happy"
"Every single one of them is so unique that i don't know which one to choose" Craig said.
The Servant grinned.
"Well the law is the law. There are countless treasures stored in this gallery, take your time and pick one"
"The treasure chosen will be permanently linked to your soul"
"Many would chose god level weapons" the Servant stated.
Craig shrugged his shoulders.
"Hmph"
"Well I didn't reincarnate to be a fighter, I want to live a normal life, a luxury life to be precise" Craig said.
"I want a treasure or an artifact that's capable of multitasking. I'm a Demon Lord, i don't need a weapon to kill a few humans"
Craig added.
He walked through every corners, the Servant followed him in reticence, he made sure he wasn't disturbing Craig.
Craig's eyes flickered.
[Notice…..]
[Utopian Authority: Eyes of Clairvoyance has been activated]
[Subject can see all the informations within the vicinity]
Pandora resounded.
"Wow, there are many S ranked artifacts and weapons in here" Craig spoke out.
He could see god level weapons, ancient artifacts, treasures from different and countless worlds.
Many were enticing.
With his Authority he could see the informations of every object present in the gallery. He knew their ranks.
Their effects and levels.
He saw Athena's shield, Zeus's lightning bolt and many more.
But despite their glamorous features and their outstanding prowesss.
It wasn't enough for Craig.
Craig didn't just want a treasure meant for war. He needed something that would help him in his daily life.
He kept searching, going through batches, he patrolled the gallery countless times.
But yet he found nothing satisfactory. Nothing was prudent enough to entice him.
Craig careesed his chin, he was approached by the silent Servant.
"You're yet to choose a treasure Mr. Craig, why?" The Servant asked.
Craig exhaled a deep sigh.
He absently rubbed his hands through his hair, his mind elsewhere as he pondered the problem.
"I don't know, all this are solid good treasures. Powerful and if I was some battle crazed freak, I would have selected one"
"But…."
Craig went mute.
"But what?" The Servant asked.
"What I need is a treasure that's useful during the time of peace, i don't want to fight. I don't need to fight"
"All I need to do is live a normal life and enjoy myself"
"So I need something different, something not battle frenzied" Craig stated.
"I understand what you're talking about, then I'll suggest something. Activate the vortex spin"
The Servant suggested.
Craig tilted his gaze with a confounded expression written on his face.
"Vortex spin? What's that?" Craig asked.
The Servant exhaled a deep sigh.
"Well it's basically a game, we'll link your soul essence and all treasures will be added into the game"
"There will be a spin. Which ever treasure perfectly synchronizes with your soul essence"
"You'll select it. Is that all right?"
The Servant asked.
"Hmmm, well since i don't know what to chose, that ain't bad. How does it work?" Craig asked.
The servant snapped his fingers and a dagger appeared right on his hand. He firmly gripped the dagger's handle.
He gently approached Craig, he pricked the thumb of Craig with the dagger.
Craig moaned.
A single drop of his blood was all that was needed. The second the drop of blood hit the ground.
It released a destructive flow of radiation in the air.
All treasures in the gallery flickered, signaling their connections. Craig staggered back.
He felt his energy was getting depleted at a rapid pace.
He quickly collapsed on his knees.
"What's going on here?" Craig questioned.
The servant placed his right hand on the left shoulder of Craig. Craig could feel energy flowing into him.
"Calm down Mr. Craig. The vortex spin has begun"
"This is only a mere after effect"
The servant whispered.
Tension uproared. The intense reoccurring waves of shock shook the gallery in its entirety.
Craig's eyes twitched.
And before their eyes appeared a gigantic roulette wheel. A wheel twenty times the size of Craig.
Craig was left in a state of shock.
His eyes bulged.
"What is that?" Craig questioned.
The servant chuckled.
"This is a divine treasure. The vortex spin, it will determine the treasure which perfectly synchronizes with your soul"
The servant elucidated.
the violent waves were like titans, their massive bodies flexing and straining as they hurdled themselves at the gallery. Unrelenting and merciless.
"Begin"
The servant commanded in a whispering tone.
Clang! Clang!
The sound was deafening, a cacophony of crashes and booms that echoed through the air as the waves incurred cracks on the wall.
The roulette wheel had all the recorded names of treasures writhing the Fate's Archive already imbued in it.
And it began its roll.
The roulette wheel spun with mesmerizing speed, its alternating pockets of red and black a blur as the ball danced around the circumference.
The red and black pockets seemed to pulse with energy, as if the very fate of Craig's fortunes hung in the balance.
Cinders soared, the spin caused a rupture in space itself. The servant grabbed Craig by the shirt.
He dragged Craig backwards with him, maintaining the distance.

The tension decreased….
The eerie waves died down, Craig lifted his head to see the roulette spin.
"It's over? I can finally breath"
Craig said with a sigh, he slowly rose up to his feets. The roulette spin shimmered, it's crimsoned hue deepening.
"Congratulations Mr. Craig, you've perfectly synchronized with a treasure"
The servant uttered.
"Huh?"
Craig was confused for a second, just then the glowing virtual panel appeared before his eyes.
It's shimmering light engulfed him.

Craig's eyes widened at the sight of the flickering golden pill levitating before his eyes. He staggered back for a second.
"What's this golden pill?" He asked.
The servant's gaze darkened the second he set his eyes on the golden pill. For a second, he was extremely anxious.
Confused, frustrated and enraged.
"Im….im….imm….impossible, of all treasures. Why did it have to be that treasure?" He muttered.
His fists clenched.
