She walks with Mr. Fox, as her tail sways lightly behind her, as the trees in the surroundings are bright, and colorful. Annoyed at Mr. Fox, and his avoidance, she has been trying to ask for half an hour, and he keeps avoiding her. She runs with a trot, and stops in front of him. "Seriously... explain the timeline? What the hell is going on?" Mr. Fox frowns, annoyed. "It's complicated, ok! I know it does not make sense." She looks at him mad, as she sits, tail swaying in annoyance. "Just fucking tell me. If I'm stuck as a tether, I need to understand!" Mr. Fox sighs deeply, sitting. Annoyed. He taps his foot, anxious. "I am not from your Earth. My realm was dragged from another... Earth. Forcefully linked to yours... by a being. Most of the shadow foxes are from this other... Earth. With its own timeline. I began activity around WW2 in my world. Then... I got dragged here... to this one around 2011 in my world. With my physical body, on my Earth, teleported to your planet, along with my realm, and over 8,000 shadow foxes." She shakes, with a expression of raw surprise "What!?", she yells. Her fur stands on edge comedically, as she jumps up, and yells, "What do you mean? T-The multiverse is real?" Mr. Fox sighs and says, "I warned you. I am stuck here now, and that... those fuckers... they left me, and my realm here!" The realm glitches in his anger. "So you can understand my reason for lying. My shadows lost loved ones because of this, and I had over 3,000 shadows cut off from me in the jump. Lost because they just so happened to be on Earth when it was teleported. So whatever." He seems annoyed, and calms. He gets up, and with a jump, disappears into the green bushes.
Eventually, it's time to wake. As she walks into the fox city, and lays in one of her areas she chose with Karlen laying nearby sunbathing. As she focuses, her body flickers with static, and disappears. As she returns to her dreams in her human body, and then awakens the next morning human. She did not tell her co-workers what she learned. Let their theories never stick ground. No one needed to know about such things... not yet at least.
Jan 6th, 2014. Fury died a few days earlier. A sniper looks through a scope... breathing slowly, carefully. Mission is simple... take out the enhanced. As he watches the lady exit the shower, he frowns at her uncanny, animalistic movements, as he watches her speak to walls. He frowns, focusing, as she clothes herself, and gets ready for bed. He watches... hours pass. As his calculations say she should be in the deepest state of sleep. He is a little unsure... SHIELD put a lot on this mission, Pierce himself is watching the results. Though... the sniper is confused... why so much effort into an enhanced? What is their enhancement? He asked, but was denied intel. 'Just shoot,' they said. He turns, and sees the vans outside the house, with two SHIELD SWAT teams ready to fire if his assassination attempt fails. Why? He will surely kill her, normal windows, sleeping? He sighs, and then breathes in carefully from 120m away, in a nearby wooded area. A hill. Then... click, the round is fired. He counts... then... it hits.
But... it does not. The sniper's eyes go wide, hands shaking, as he watches through his scope. The bullet hit... right in her head as he was aiming. A bit hard given her curled-up pose. But now... her eyes are wide open, glowing with static, as a powerful flare of static energy covers the hole on her head, cracks of static covering her face slowly. As she gets up... almost robotically. He shakes... as he calls in, "B-Bullet failed to penetrate! I repeat, failed to penetrate! T-Target awake!" The woman in the room smiles animalistically... as her eyes turn to slits, as she gets up slowly. Calmly... yet? Barely aware? SWAT teams move, ready to finish the kill, expecting resistance. As the door bangs open... there is a TV on, with an animated white fox sitting, static sparks covering her eyes. As her smile widens animalistically. The song plays as shadow foxes move in the animated background, playing a jazzy tone. "There once were some men that were bai—" A man shoots out the TV... it fails... the bullet flies into the TV, and it cracks with static. The bullet failed to hit the TV. A sudden... force causes them to freeze. As the woman exits the room. "—ly aware." The human finishes in sync. "That they pulled in the hunt. They shot their guns, and threw their gren—" They shake, as they fire upon her, shaking, finding it hard to breathe from some... pressure. The bullets touch her skin, but disappear... in static. As shadowy figures of ears, and a tail form... and then in a snap turn solid, with animated fur. They shake, one throws a grenade... and then... a flash of bright static. As the room turns empty. The TV continues, as an entire group of men suddenly find themselves in an animated haunted forest, and their bodies animated. With all their army gear, and grenade on the ground that blows up. They are in quiet animated forest.
Outside... the sniper watches in horror. As the men yelled, "Shit! What is this thi—" As a flash of static white light. Then... "Report?" Silence... nothing on the radio. Radio silence. He frowns, unsure... as then he frowns, and shakes, seeing the woman exit the house unharmed. In her pajamas, with black-furred fox ears, and a tail on her body. Walking calmly out of the building. Then... her ears twitch, rotate towards him. As she turns her head, and her eyes glowing with static, and she smiles... animalistic. He shakes, and pulls back from his scope. Shakes as he watches back in... that should not be possible. Then... she smiles wider. A shadow fox-like snout forming, with stylistic sharp teeth, as she gets onto all fours, as she runs like an animal, yet having a human body with human limbs. It's uncanny how fast she moves. He shakes, and jumps off his sniper. Moving in utter shaking fear. His body sweats, his hands shake, as he runs to his car to escape. He realized now why this mission was so weird, though in reality... the only thing on his mind was the fact of radio silence.
The car was in sight, as he ran, and opened the door. Turning it on, and dropping the sniper case without care. Breathing hard... he drove down the road in the civilian-style vehicle. As he shakes, utterly in fear. The radio slot for the car is missing, a weird protocol he dismissed earlier. Now... he shakes in fear, as it drives. As he breathes rapidly, he sees flickers of shadowy foxes in the forest around the road, in the corner of his eye, but they don't seem to be there. It's quiet... too quiet, as he shakes in utter fear... trying to calm himself. Surely she will not find him. Before bang... on his hood... is the woman... all 4's. Face wild with instincts. "The last survivor ran with his tail still and scared." The woman sang. He panicked, and swerved. Before she dropped her feet down... and DRAG, the car came to a stop, its wheels burning up, trying to drive forward, while the woman stood in front of the car... bare feet digging into the concrete.
The sniper saw no woman... as she looked up at him, smiling wide with wild instincts of the hunt. Hands covered in a shadowy aura of claws, as it dents the car hood. Ears with well-drawn fur on her head. Tail flicking. As she says, "On, and on like it's Babylon!" She sings loudly, as her body crackles with static, as it spreads slowly across the car. He shakes in fear, before, "We shake and run from the fate we BURN! ON, and ON like it's Babylon!" Her body pulses with a static flare of light. Her entire figure is made of static now, except her eyes that glow purple, but stylized. As his car begins to move. But he shakes in fear, as it's... more... pulled... slowly into the static of her body. Visibly turning animated as it gets near. He moves, opens the door, falls to the ground, and backs away shaking, screaming. As the car is absorbed into the woman's body. She says, "The man sees the face of what will be his end! So as he shakes, and shivers he will run." He moves to run, it seems to work, as he runs into the forest. She is gone... but she speaks... he hears her. He shakes, falling to the ground, looking around for her. "But he has yet to realize the flaws in his plan. That he was never one meant to hunt." He shakes. "PLEASE SPARE ME!" she continues to sing. "On, and on like it's Babylon!" She walks forward slowly, as he backs away in fear. Into a tree. She is no longer a figure of static. Her smile wide. "Your blindness will bring you to end! Yes, your blindness will end! Yes..." he realizes... the song... it's ending. This is the song ending... his end... he shakes in utter fear. "You... are the next one... toooo..... end." She grabs him suddenly, and he is gone in a flash of static.
Ally falls to the ground as the man disappears, and the song ends... shaking. As the last target disappears. The energy in her fades... her power shrinking to normal levels. As she visibly feels it easer to think without rhymes, and style. Her mind slowly clears. As she shakes... breathing hard. "W-What... was that?" Karlen says "You... you were threatened... and your mind responded the only way it knows how. A song." She shakes... as tears build up in her eyes, as she collapses. Static flickering from raw emotion. "W-Why! What... oh god!" She never killed someone before! She is a investigator. Sure, she was trained to kill! But only when absolutely needed! She shakes... crying. Karlen is quite. Then says "You did not kill them. Mr. Fox is handling them right now in the realm. Did not expect you to show... this power this soon."
She shakes, and says "H-How... did i do that?" Karlen says "I don't know... you are a tether, just like Mr. Fox. But..." She is quite... she remembers it... waking... to a immense pain... that then faded... as a emotion filled her... pity. She did not feel like herself... could not think... only feel. Feel... she felt... strong, like a god. She pitted these ugly men... pitted them... they felt so small, weak, and fragile, and she felt... such a urge to fix them, seeing all that darkness in there eyes, that makes them look like a broken vase. The entirety of her being was filled with power, as long as she kept singing. As long as she punished these bad, bad men. She shakily says "W-Why... Mr... Fox said i needed to train to use it." Karlen says "This was life or death. So the realm took control. Infused you with uncontrollable instinct... i think. You need to talk to Mr. Fox here... ask. But first... you need to figure out why the fuck shield mercenaries attached you. Did... did they turn?" Her face goes white at that... she remembers the shield logos. "Oh... oh no..."
She goes on the lamb... as she learns... she is a wanted criminal in shield, and her entire division was scraped. As her house was raided, and she was forced to run the next day. Fury... was dead. Pierce... Pierce... that was Dill's assigner... meaning... his hate for her... Pierce... hated her. Feared her. She would... if she was radical. She frowns deeply, as she sits in a rental care, as she drives off with all her footage of her nights burned, as she runs. Eyes glowing with static light, silted. In a shitty hotel, she watches the news... frowning as she sees her face... on the news, along with Steve Rogers, and other names. Thou the anchor is visibly nervous about the fact both are wanted. She sighs deeply. She is quite... and then says "I need to train." She is a regular agent... no super agent, just a agent who got a lucky... or unlucky case that caused her to transform into a crazy fox-tether that holds up another realm... "My life is insane..." she says quietly. Dreading quietly. Karlen says "Yeah... i mean... its pretty rare to get caught up with Mr. Fox. But the look suits you well." She smiles, and blushes at that. She is unsure what to do about the fact she has feelings for a man who is no longer a man, and was a mafia boss until he became a cartoon fox shadow on a wall only she can see, unless some crazy energies are leaking into earth. She has no contacts... she... hopes her team is ok. She has no idea right now, that raid... she left in a hurry, and it was good reason to do so. She whimpers slightly, her non-physical, invisible ears lower, her eyes more emotional then any adult would normally show. She sighs, and puts on a hard face.
