The sound of the door being smashed opened instantly drew the attention of the people inside the room.
There were 15 men in the room, all with there face covered with dark clothes.
"Who!!?" One of them shouted.
In the dark, they saw a figure of a man standing in the opened doorway.
Instantly, all the men in the room drew their weapons, ready to confront the man.
With a smirk, the old man disappeared from the doorway.

At the same time, the dim candle light also went out, making the already dark room even more darker.
Seeing the dark figure disappeared from the vision, all of them showed the look of surprised. Some even felt extreme sense of danger.
But, all of them were not some newbies who sent out to the outside world for the first time.

His companions sensed the changed. Most of them started showing signs of fear, when they felt the changed in the atmosphere.

Some even swallowed saliva in fears, trying to calm themselves.
But that didn't shake away the fears in their mind.
Suddenly, they felt the room became so cold like the entity of winter was inside the room along with them.
Among the assassins was a man in Acquired Qi Realm Level 1. When he felt the sudden coldness, his eyes turned into deep fear.
At that moment, he knew their chance of escaping from the room was too low. Too low that the percentage was almost 0.
Because he himself knew only someone at high level Acquired Qi Realm and above can affect the surrounding atmosphere with their Qi.

The leader had only one thought on his mind when he slowly fell onto the floor. 'Why..!?'
Others would think the same if some unknown person suddenly appears on their place and smashed the door. And without any words, they started massacring.
The incident was so fast that the other assasins that were still standing in the middle of the room stared with their eyes wide opened.
Only when the bodies of their comrades started falling on the floor did they react.
After the bodies fell, all they saw was a simple figure standing on the doorway as he first appeared.
Fears engulfed their minds, but without a second thought all of the remaining assasins charged towards the figure.

With loud shouts, to fuel themselves, they bravely ran towards the figure.
Theirs voice even traveled across the streets distance away from the remote house.
Some civilians sleeping inside their own home woke up from the loud noise.
As they expected, inside the room. All of them fell one by one. They didn't even get the chance to see the move and the face of the intruder, clearly.
Without a second look, the old man left the place.
He could hear the heavy and mixed footsteps of a group of people coming towards the direction.
But, he didn't leave like he was on a hurry.
As he slowly walked on the street, the sky lit up with lightning.
Seconds later, a loud rumble rolled in the sky. It was the sound of thunder.
The old man didn't even flinch as he continued walking down the street, towards the city gate.
Before long, rain slowly started pouring down.

Soon, the light rain turned into steady rain.

Then, into heavy rain.

When the old man reached the city gate, the rain was already hammering down.
Below the giant city gate, the old man took one last final look at the city. Then, he turned around and left through the city gate.

For every step the clone took, it left a icy foot step. Lasting only for quite a while, before ultimately vanishing.
The clone continued its journey back to its owner, under the heavy rain and the constant rolling of thunder and lightning.

An hour later, the clone finally arrived at the edge of the town. Without further delay, it sped up towards Ren Wei's house.
Standing in the courtyard under the heavy rain was the figure of Ren Wei.
The heavy drops of rain seemed to hit his body, but a thin invisible layer of Qi separated him from the rain.
Accompanied by a calm face, he looked towards a certain direction.

At that time, a figure appeared in front him, standing. It was the clone.
"The mission?" Ren Wei asked calmly. The sound of rain didn't diminish his voice.

After that, Ren Wei continued standing in the rain. His eyes was vivid, but his mind was somewhere else wandering.
In a soft yet firmed voice, he murmured to himself. "Wait for me, a little bit, my children. I am coming to find you."
Then, snapping out of his thought, he entered back to his house.
Inside the room, Ren Wei sat on the bed and digested the memories of the clone.
After a while, he opened his eyes.
"So, there were 15 of them in the city. The strongest being only at the 1st Level of Acquired Qi Realm." After digesting, he ran through the memory.
For a clone that has 70% of his own realm, at the 7th Level of Acquired Qi Realm. It was a piece of cake for the clone to handle them.
Taking a deep breath, he thought. 'Now, it's time to prepare for the aftermath of the incident.'
"I should probably speed up my process." He said to himself as he thought about what would follow the incident.
"Well, that's for another day. Let's rest for tonight." He brushes away the thought and prepared to rest.
Following the sound of rain, Ren Wei soon fell asleep.

The Black Swan City was in uproar. That morning, people heard the gruesome murder of more than ten people.
People were in fear, thinking that maybe the culprit is still roaming the city. Maybe be they will be the unlucky next one.
The government office announced people not to panic as they are investigating the incident.
