Chapter 37 - MARKED AS A TRAITOR

Qasim immediately realized—it could only have been Hashim who went to see Abdullah. Without wasting a second, he rushed outside the palace, determined to catch him. But just as he stepped out, Shehzadi Nayab, witnessing his haste, misunderstood his intentions.

"He's running away," she declared in alarm, and without hesitation, she ordered the guards, "Seize Qasim!"

Within moments, the royal guards surrounded him. Qasim, startled and confused, raised his hands.

"What are you doing?" he asked in disbelief. "Let me go! I need to catch him!"

Shehzadi Nayab walked forward calmly, her expression cold.

"The one you're looking for… he's already in our custody," she said. "We don't need anyone else to go after him."

Meanwhile, Fatima desperately tried to tell Nayab the truth. Her voice trembled as she pleaded,

"It was Hashim… He was the one! My brother is innocent!"

But Nayab refused to listen. Her judgment had already been clouded by the shock and betrayal she believed she had witnessed.

At that very moment, Abdul Rehman sat alone with the mysterious book his father had left him. As he read through the faded pages, one line suddenly caught his attention—it glowed faintly, as if alive:

"If you save an innocent soul from undeserved suffering… then you shall…"

He didn't even finish the sentence. Slamming the book shut, Abdul Rehman leapt to his feet, his mind clear. There was only one person this could be referring to—Qasim.

Despite feeling unwell, he forced himself toward the palace. But what he saw froze him in place—Qasim, surrounded by armed guards, being held like a traitor.

Without hesitation, Abdul Rehman sprang into action. Pushing past the soldiers, he reached Qasim's side and shouted,

"Run!"

Together, they fought their way out, dodging swords and fists. In the chaos, Abdul Rehman kept his face hidden, knowing that if the people saw him aiding Qasim, he too would be branded a traitor.

Back in the palace, Shehzadi Nayab summoned the people of the entire region to the royal courtyard. Standing tall before the crowd, her voice rang out with authority and grief:

"Qasim, who once served as our trusted commander," she began, "has taken the life of my father, Abdullah. He is a traitor to the crown. And anyone who supports him, protects him, or gives him shelter—shall be declared a traitor as well."

Gasps and murmurs rose from the gathering.

She continued, "But the one who captures him and brings him to me… shall be rewarded with gold coins. As many as they desire. And a permanent place within the palace will be granted to them."

The message was clear—and it spread like wildfire. The people, driven by gold and fear, began searching for Qasim across the land.

Meanwhile, Abdul Rehman had taken Qasim to the only place he knew was safe—Umm-e-Farwah's home. The door shut behind them, and Abdul Rehman whispered urgently:

"You have to stay hidden here. Everyone is searching for you. If you're seen now, you'll be caught immediately."

Qasim sat down, his face pale. "But why are they after me?"

Abdul Rehman looked him in the eyes and replied, "They think… you poisoned Abdullah."

Qasim's eyes widened. "What?"

Abdul Rehman nodded grimly. "But it wasn't you. The real one who gave the poison… was Hashim."

Qasim asks but how did you know that I am in trouble and how did you reach there With that Qasim got confused .

Abdul rehman told him because I was save You from Hashim The Only person that Came In my mind was you and when i saw you i dicided to save you from there too..
