Harumiko smiled and nodded in agreement. She nodded, a smile playing on her lips.
"Okay, that's settled then. You'll come get me tomorrow morning, and we'll go to the hospital together. After visiting your aunt, we can go out and play!" Harumiko said, smiling at Hiroshi. She confirmed their plans.
Hiroshi nodded with a smile. "Speaking of which, Harumiko, we won first place in that competition, right? I wonder what the prize is? We still don't know," he said. He brought up the competition prize.
Harumiko shook her head slightly. "I'm not sure either, but there's definitely going to be some kind of prize! We won first place, so let's just wait and see," she replied. She suggested patience.
"You're right. We won first place; there's nothing else to worry about. Let's just wait. The prize will be ours eventually!" Hiroshi agreed, smiling. He agreed with her assessment.
The two of them sat there chatting and laughing for a long time. They enjoyed each other's company.
"Okay, it's getting late. I should go home; my parents will be worried," Harumiko said, checking the time. She mentioned the lateness of the hour.
Hiroshi looked at the darkening sky outside. "Okay, I'll walk you home. It's not too late; you should get home and rest early," he offered. He offered to walk her home.
Harumiko nodded with a smile. "Okay, let's go!" She agreed to his offer.
Hiroshi stood up, and they left his house together. They left his house together.
"Tonight was so much fun! I thought I'd be eating hot pot alone, but then you came! I'm so lucky!" Hiroshi said happily. He expressed his gratitude.
Harumiko smiled and nodded. "I thought you wouldn't be home, but we ended up eating hot pot together!" She expressed her own surprise.
They both burst into laughter. This was what true friendship was like—they could always find humor in the same things. They shared a laugh.
"Taking a walk after dinner...this is such a pleasant life. If I could, I'd really love to live like this with you every day," Harumiko said, blushing. She expressed her desire for a life together.
Hiroshi took her hand and said seriously, "Don't worry, Harumiko, I'll make that wish come true. We'll be together, and we'll live like this every day!" He made a promise to her.
Harumiko paused for a few seconds, then smiled and nodded. They continued walking towards her home. They continued their walk home.
