*Noah's POV*
I'm folding my last shirt into the suitcase when my phone rings. Butler Vincent's name flashes on the screen.
"Sir," his voice carries an edge of concern. "We have a situation."
I set down the shirt. "What kind of situation?"
"The executives at Ace Corporation are pressuring Ms. Hayes. They want her to choose between her position and her relationship with you."
My jaw tightens. "Explain."
"They received threats from the Donovan family's legal team. Intimidation tactics. Loss of contracts. The executives are demanding she publicly denounce you or face termination."
I walk to the window, staring out at the street below. Scarlett should be in that meeting right now, facing down seven ambitious men who see her as disposable.
"What's your recommendation, Vincent?"
"Test her, sir."
The suggestion catches me off guard. "Test her?"
"Present the ultimatum yourself. See what she chooses when faced with losing everything she's worked for."
