*Noah's POV*
I wake up with Scarlett's head on my chest, her dark hair spilled across my skin like silk. Morning light filters through the blinds, casting golden stripes across her bare shoulders. For a moment, I just watch her sleep, memorizing the peaceful expression on her face.
Today changes everything. Today we leave Orlando behind and start fresh in New York.
My phone buzzes on the nightstand. Vincent's name appears on the screen.
"Yeah?" I keep my voice low.
"Good morning, sir. I have updates on the New York situation."
Scarlett stirs against me but doesn't wake. I slide carefully out of bed and walk to the window.
"Go ahead."
"The job offer Ms. Hayes received is legitimate. Sterling & Associates is a mid-tier firm, but respectable. Clean background, no connections to the Donovan family."
"And the salary?"
"Sixty percent of what she was making at Ace Corporation."
I wince. She's taking a massive step backward because of me.
"What about housing?"
