Chloe Pierce's POV
I stare at the napkin in my hands for the hundredth time today. The formula Aiden scribbled on it yesterday looks like chicken scratch mixed with chemistry equations I barely understand.
"Beginner-level Beauty Pill," I mutter under my breath. "Right."
The conference room buzzes with panicked energy around me. Twenty executives cramming into a space meant for twelve, all talking at once about our latest crisis. The Radiant Cosmetics launch three weeks ago has been an absolute disaster.
"Sales are down forty percent across all product lines," Janet Wu announces from the head of the table. Her perfectly manicured fingers tap nervously against her tablet. "Our new anti-aging cream is being completely overshadowed by Lumina Corporation's Pearl Essence line."
"Forty percent?" Someone gasps. "How is that even possible?"
