Meera didn't mean to demean Dalton, but she knew the problem with Zane was not an easy matter.
It had been a few years since Dalton took his position as an alpha and shunned his brother away, but the problem with him had not yet done completely, thus how long it would take him to pick her up from her pack if he would wait until he was done with the problem with his older brother?
Meera didn't like it. She didn't like the thought that they would be separated for that long. It also surprised her how she hated the idea of being separated from him.
"When?" Meera repeated her question because Dalton didn't answer her, he was silent for a moment, contemplating the way he answered that, but then he was not the person, who would beat around the bush.
"One or two years," he said.
